I think it is interesting how learning about Islam from Muslims made this person closer to her (different)faith while I see that so many here who learn about Islam from Jihadwatch/Geller types go so far away from what they say they believe as to be unrecognizable as 'Christians'. And the Atheists and Agnostics just seem to be less tolerant and more ignorant rather than (what they would like us to think) as more liberal, educated, tolerant and open minded.
Learning about Islam from practicing Muslims improved the writer and strengthened her own faith (and tolerance), while learning about it from haters just creates-more haters. It makes sense, but it is sad.
