So the solution to the problem of drug dealing is to put a felony on them and hope that when they get out that they want to find a 'real job' and then a decent employer will actually hire them in this horrible economy?

Please tell me how that makes sense when it would be 100 times easier for them to just go back to what they were doing, maybe get busted again, only so WE can pay their way through life at $40k a year. That seems like a GREAT way to spend our children's future, I mean taxes.

These dumb kids are going to screw us whether we keep them in school or kick them out.Does anybody really think with a slap on the wrist that they will stop what they were doing in the first place. They knew what they were doing was illegal.

I'm not trying to propose solutions here. I'm just saying that 'protecting' them by throwing them in jail doesn't make sense.'Protecting' society at the cost of $40k a year doesn't make sense. And none of it makes sense when drug use over the past 40 years has increased as well as there being new and more powerful drugs on the street.

What I'm saying is the currently policy is awful and throwing the book at drug users and dealers hasn't done a single thing to benefit society, unless you believe higher taxes and more prisons are a benefit.

If their parents are slack, kick the kids out of public school and let the parents foot the bill for private school.

Well Mr New Mexico looks like three of your followers are in big dodo for messing with the illegal weed at Franklin college in Kentucky.I am sure all of these young kids are in pain from cancer and that is why they are getting stoned. What they need to do is kicked their stupid asses out of that school and open the door for three kids who are more responsible.
Sad
