America gets 15 times more electricity generation from wood than it does solar.(government and the paper industry, enough said)
If solar projects cost $8 per watt like this one did solar has no future.
Maybe we can get someone with business and engineering knowledge to do the next one?

Because of the commodity aspect of electricity generation, solar even at $8 a watt will pay for itself. At the present rate maybe 20 years, but with yearly increases in electric rates becoming more common place, 15 years is more reasonable as a payback period. If cap and tax is passed, 10 or less. This project was started over a year ago? Since then, there are some other companies in the solar business, that were not a couple of years ago. CIGS panels are less efficient than crystal silicon cells, but can be printed bringing down the total cost per solar panel. companies like nanosolar, first solar say they can produce utility scale projects for $1 watt. Golbal solar has just announced a partnership with DOW chemical to produce what is being called the DOW powerhouse shingle. One can re-roof their house with solar in the near future.
