Do you realise how much natural Benzo-a -pyrene is in the air everywhere from pumping your gas,yes that sweet smell is benzoapyrene! Car exhaust is also full of benzoapyrene, your cookout is full of benzoapyrene..........its everywhere and this study isnt conclusive at all! In fact it showed no changes in other ccomparisons done in during the actual trial.

Dont worry proper authorities have been contacted to break this study down into laymans language.

Figure.III.11 Correlation between 1-ohpg and BaPT levels in smokers

The one point with High [1-OHPG] value and BaPT levels seemed to undulyinfluence the fit to show correlation.More over, analysis performed after elimination of that one point resulted in a highly NON-SIGNIFICANT linerar relationship [p=0.7219

http://wvuscholar.wvu.edu :8881//exlibris/dtl/d3_1/apach e_media/L2V4bGlicmlzL2R0bC9kM1 8xL2FwYWNoZV9tZWRpYS8xMjY1NQ== .pdf

They progressively doped the tests with higher and higher levels until they found the results they wanted with BaP!

It appears the study author OF THE HDL study is now working for tobacco control and all his grant funding information has been pulled by the foriduh university he works out of.

Point is they cant even detect BAP in smokers so whats this mean, the body filters it out!

And I guess your next comment is going to say that smoking is good for you.

Anything that causes yellow teeth and fingers can't be good for your lungs.

The Doc basically kept pumping up the BAP just like the 3rd hand smoke junk scientists did with HONO levels until they reached a point that got an effect. His amounts would equate to hundreds of smoked ciggys at one time in the human body not anyhting like what would be found in the real world much less the amounts everyone gets from everyday eating and breathing!

This doc as I figured was doing something already KNOWN or at least suspected!

NOTE: POTENTIAL ATHEROSCLEROSIS
Hardening of the arteries (Atherosclerosis) www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Hardening of the arteries, also called atherosclerosis, is a common disorder. It occurs when fat, cholesterol, and other substances build up in the walls of arteries and form hard structures called plaques.

This docs a real gem ehh

OSHA website

Health Effects: Probable human carcinogen; potential photocarcinogen (HE2); Chronic toxicity—potential atherosclerosis (HE3); Genotoxicity—potential reproductive and developmental hazards (HE5).

Category 2b possible human carcinogen…

There is no specific OSHA PEL for Benzo[a]pyrene. Benzo[a]pyrene is characteristic of cold tar pitch volatiles (PEL is 0.2 mg/m3) and/or coke oven emissions (PEL is 0.15 mg/m3).

According to independent Public and Health Policy Research group, Littlewood & Fennel of Austin, Tx, on the subject of secondhand smoke……..

They did the figures for what it takes to meet all of OSHA’S minimum PEL’S on shs/ets…….Did it ever set the debate on fire.

They concluded that:

All this is in a small sealed room 9×20 and must occur in ONE HOUR.

For Benzo[a]pyrene, 222,000 cigarettes

"Barbecues poison the air with toxins and could cause cancer, research suggests.
A study by the French environmental campaigning group Robin des Bois found that a typical two-hour barbecue can release the same level of dioxins as up to 220,000 cigarettes.

Dioxins are a group of chemicals known to increase the likelihood of cancer.

The figures were based on grilling four large steaks, four turkey cuts and eight large sausages."

These junk scientists also claim smoking thickens the blood which it does to a degree but no more than eating green leafy vegetables as its the vitamin k in tobacco they are refering too, the same vitamin k in all green plants we eat everyday! Green beans are especially high in vitamin k. Vitamin K is the cure for Coumadin a blood thinner for people with blood clots. What do they do if you smoke, they simply alter your dosage as these docs alreay know how much vitamin k is in a particular pack of smokes,ya they had it plastered all over the walls in the Coumadin Clinic at Keesler Air force base Hospital in Biloxi MS.

I hate working outside around supper time because I smell BBQ'S. Makes my stomach growl. Its a great smell. Cigs on the other hand make pig barns smell good in comparison. Smokers themselves smell like a skunk carcass rotting in the hot sun.
