We were promised this if obamacare was enacted. Doctors would leave the profession and people qualified for the medical field would not enter it. The bleak future of medical care caused by obamacare has started.

I based my post upon talking with numerous friends who are doctors and others at the hospitals who told me they would and did resign when obamacare was passed. How does Romney Fan know what is happening in Georgia? You can't make people do something they don't wish to do by passing a bill like obamacare or hasn't he and his beloved obama discovered this? The article I provided proves him incorrect again. He would do better to read the proof provided rather than run his mouth about something of which he has no background knowledge. He has no credibility now this is why he is known as the nut.

Useful Clueless Idiot who parrots LIEberal talking points all the while thinking he's clever and hip and fighting "the man." Little does this inculcated sheeple realize he's actually being used by "the man" aka the establishment. See post directly above for details. This clown probably wears one of those silly bandanas hiding his mug while wearing his Che Guevarra t-shirt not realizing that Guevarra was a cold blooded murderer who detested blacks and Mexicans and also died like a coward begging for his life. Of course if Che detested whites this clown would love him even though he himself is white.

I think you're right. Does he really believe they're all going to just walk away from their profession? What are they going to do?

Projected doctor shortage in Georgia is 5000. The article speaks for the shortage for those able to read it. For those educated in California public schools which are now on the bottom of the national test scores, they can get help from enlighten people educated in nearby states with their reading comprehension problems. Bless their little hearts.

Why post this on a Doraville, Ga site? It's important news but Doraville doesn't even have a hospital. Doesn't have a Fire Dept either. No city clerk. No business development dept. Nobody in Public Works with any kind of a degree. No Personnel Dept. or workmans comp. No Health Dept. Huh?

Doraville is in Georgia, people in Doraville get sick and need to visit doctors occasionally. It was posted on the Atlanta Forum, you read it in Doraville. Incorporate logic into your posts, it will increase your credibility. Bless your little heart.

This article was written by the AJC which is the most liberal newspaper in Georgia. obamacare will be difficult to administer if the states don't have enough doctors. The future is not bright for America under obamacare.

Georgia is looking for answers as it confronts a looming shortage of doctors.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday that projections show the state will fall about 5,000 physicians short of needed levels by 2030.

But many doctors oppose changing the rules, which they say helps protect quality patient care. Some physicians have fought for years against state legislation aimed at giving nurse practitioners greater autonomy.

Georgia is currently ranked 41st nationally for its supply of doctors. Already, medical schools are preparing for the transition to a system where health care providers other than doctors play a more vital role in medicine.

Having much of initial healthcare provided by non-doctors is a good idea. Little Clem has the sniffles, why should he see a doctor when a nurse will do just fine. Bubba burned his butt and a nurse can certainly take care of that. You don't have a rocket scientist fix your printer.
Yeah but when is a doctor going to cure that disease you have of never wanting to get off your lazy a$$ and get a JOB. I know your a$$ will be glad when your body dies that way it will finally get a rest. Dammit son, get up off your booty and away from the computer and at least move once in awhile. Sheeeesh.

Word.
