If 18 is the age of majority then the actions between the parties were consenting.
Why is the State government interfering between the parties . If the woman violated a employment agreement on campus then the state could fire the woman for a employment infraction. This was off campus and should not have been in court.
She should sue the state for a civil rights violation followed by all parties involved and an order should be placed against the school district. The suit should ask for 100"million.

I guess you missed this part:
She was charged with five counts of having an inappropriate relationship between a student and teacher. The second-degree felony is punishable by between two and 20 years in prison per count.

Who and what considers inappropiate behavior after age 18. Oh yea, that group at the annual APA private (closed door) meeting for profits. I wonder what really goes on behind those close doors.
Here is the agenda of the Mental Health in the take over of the Judiciary Branch of government (by state) on the problem the industry caused in the USA.(Drug America) This is a similar takeover to what happen in the Public School System under the Reagan/ Bush presidency.

Allen Frances: Is Government Intervention Needed to Prevent an Unsafe DSM 5?
Inside the Battle to Define Mental Illness
Every so often Al Frances says something that seems to surprise even him. Just now, for instance, in the predawn darkness of his comfortable, rambling home in Carmel, California, he has broken off his exercise routine to declare that “there is no definition of a mental disorder. It’s bullshit. I mean, you just can’t define it.” Then an odd, reflective look crosses his face, as if he’s taking in the strangeness of this scene: Allen Frances, lead editor of the fourth edition of the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (universally known as the DSM-IV), the guy who wrote the book on mental illness, confessing that “these concepts are virtually impossible to define precisely with bright lines at the boundaries.” For the first time in two days, the conversation comes to an awkward halt.
There are no genetic tests, no brain scans, blood tests, chemical imbalance tests or X-rays that can scientifically/medically prove that any psychiatric disorder is a medical condition.

The woman broke an employment contract. Her association with those in school over the age of majority should be of no concern to the court.
The boys are free to join the military and die in a war if they so desire. The are considered adults.
What are the boys doing in school with minor children particularly females that they may find sexually attractive by peak harmone age and sleep with? Is there more money in the entrapment of the boys that are 18, in high school with the courts, mental health industry and prison systems. We all know the prisons must be filled and maintained as a Republican ALEC venture for profits of the private prison system.
