Everything is in play now with the downfall of the emergency manager law. Yes, the Detroit contract is still valid, but the teacher takeover is not OK.
Roy Roberts has to go. The EEA schools might need to revert back to the DPS. The Attorney General is fighting back by declaring the seven member DPS Board invalid as they don't have the required 100,000 students. So who would run the schools and what would those schools look like? Everything done by the manager could be void. Teacher firings might be rescinded. It's a cat fight.
