How dare they try to criminalize Mary and Joseph's journey and attempt to make it something it was not?!

Mary and Joseph were not slithering illegally into another country.

They were mud colored Jews returning to their family hometown to participate in a government census. Mary, a single woman, pregnant with the bastard child of an adulterous god, and Joseph, a migrant worker stealing carpentry jobs from the good people of Nazareth.

Anyway, this all took place in July but the crooked Christians couldn't get anyone to celebrate his birthday so they stole the popular midwinter solstice celebration and renamed it Christmas.

If that isn't slithery, then I guess nothing is.

You are a sick individual. No one can "steal" the midwinter solstice. It still exists and can be celebrated by those who choose to. Going somewhere to be counted for a census is not the same as stealing into a country and taking advantage of it, costing that country's citizens a lot of money and other problems.

All humans following the beliefs of Christianity will burn in hail for violating gods commandments. First, you are not to place any god before god all mighty, yet Christians are forced by their satanic church to worship Jesus before god.

Now, if placing Jesus ahead of God isn't bad enough, Christians accuse god of adultery saying that he impregnated a virgin. They also accuse god of being a dead beat dad who dumped his troubles on a carpenter named Joe.

Christians constantly trick children to disrespect their parents by joining their cult and following the bastard child of the adulterous god. If parents refuse to allow their children to follow the cult invented by the government who killed this Jesus character in the first place.

Christians have a long history of killing their fellow man and their church has sent it's followers all over the globe forcing humans to choose between a sword or a cross.

It isn't too late for Christians to mend the error of their ways. You can kill an unblemished calf and offer it's blood to god promising to never follow the cult of Christ and god will probably forgive you.

RE: Advocates Use 'Posada' to Draw Attention to Immigration Reform
..... Immigration reform depends on the money available. Given that most people want taxes to be lower instead of being high enough to pay for it all, with most politicians apparently promising lower taxes, don't expect any crackdown on illegal immigrants, nor prevention of more illegal immigration.
..... Jesus wasn't born at the beginning of year 1, nor on December 25th. As I remember reading, there was no census, according to history, at that time.
..... The story about the virgin birth is just a story. All virgin births result in females, never in males.
..... One author speculated that the real father of Jesus (or whatever was his real name) was the murdered crown prince, the son of Herod, with the pregnant Mary (or whatever was her real name) also being in danger of getting murdered. So Mary couldn't say who she was and they made up the story about the virgin birth to explain the pregnancy.
.... The December 25th pre-Christian festival apparently was to celebrate that it had been confirmed that the daylight would from then on get longer, and probably clergy took the credit for that, possibly claiming that their prayers and (expensive) ceremonies had induced God to relent and reverse his policy of reducing the daylight duration.

Jesus was an illegitimate child of Joseph. Back then that was a crime punishable by death.

The midwinter solstice and the concept of christmas was documented long before little Jesus was born. Christianity "STOLE" that concept from pagan religions.

In the pagan origins of Christmas, In ancient Babylon, the feast of the Son of Isis (Goddess of Nature) was celebrated on December 25. Raucous partying, gluttonous eating and drinking, and gift-giving were traditions of this feast.

In Rome, the Winter Solstice was celebrated many years before the birth of Christ. The Romans called their winter holiday Saturnalia, honoring Saturn, the God of Agriculture.

In 350, Pope Julius I declared that Christ’s birth would be celebrated on December 25. There is little doubt that he was trying to make it as painless as possible for pagan Romans (who remained a majority at that time) to convert to Christianity. The new religion went down a bit easier, knowing that their feasts would not be taken away from them.

Christmas (Christ-Mass) as we know it today, most historians agree, began in Germany, though Catholics and Lutherans still disagree about which church celebrated it first. The earliest record of an evergreen being decorated in a Christian celebration was in 1521 in the Alsace region of Germany.

A prominent Lutheran minister of the day cried blasphemy:“Better that they should look to the true tree of life, "Christ.”

How far has modern day Anglo-Protestants foolishly deviate from the very Christ they seem to claim as theirs?
