For a voter looking to preview next year's presidential election, nothing placed the competing arguments in sharper focus than a single day.

ENVIRONMENTALISTS BEWARE! Truth out:

Green groups sue Obama administration for scuttling ozone rule.

Environment advisory groups complain Obama is outright ignoring their FOIA requests on projects he approved, and complain his administration is much worse than the Bush admin in responding.

Obama hired several Agent Orange Monsanto employees to staff high level positions in his food safety team. INTERESTING.

Since when was occupying Wall Street, littering and defecating on public streets and areas considered environmentally friendly? These democrats are hypocrits the way they throw their garbage, plastic bottles, and litter the protest areas. PLATITUDES IS ALL THEY DELIVER. HOT SMOGGY AIR. JUST LIKE THEIR SAVIOR OBAMA JR.

It's the ECONOMY STUPID!

Someone should have told that to the Maggot in 2009/10 while he claimed increasing Health Care Entitlements was what people wanted.

THE CHEESE STANDS ALONE

"Obama has hitched his political fate and the economy's on his jobs plan."

But the Dem's in the Senate refused to vote on it without major revision. This was done in spite of the fact that Obama labeled it a bipartisan plan and Republicans called for a vote on it. In the end, the Dem's wouldn't even support their own revised bill. Clearly, the Dem's don't have a workable plan for fixing the economy.

We've got a President who appears to be abandoned by his own party. Some say that Obama abandoned the party. Does it matter?

Obama's inner circle are submitting resignation letters. Hmmmm.... Can we expect Joe Biden's letter soon, or will he also abandon his party?

He may not have a plan, because he may not be President due to voter fraud.

Liberals never win on a level playing field.

Suspicious petitions got a stamped signature

By ERIN BLASKO South Bend Tribune Staff Writer
7:28 p.m. EDT, October 11, 2011
SOUTH BEND - Suspected fake petition pages to place Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the ballot during the 2008 Indiana primary passed through the county voter registration office on days when the Republican head of the office was absent, The Tribune has learned.

The pages in question bear the stamped signature of Republican Linda Silcott, indicating Silcott was not in the office at the time to sign the documents by hand. By comparison, most of the other, non-suspicious pages examined by The Tribune contain Silcott's written signature.

Meanwhile, 13 more St. Joseph County residents whose signatures appear on the petitions, including former South Bend mayor and Indiana governor Joe Kernan, have come forward to say they did not sign the documents, and the Indiana Republican Party has called for a federal investigation into the matter.

"How deep does this problem go?" state GOP Chair Eric Holcomb asked. "Is it isolated to St. Joseph County or was it a broader, coordinated effort across the state?... Who forged the signatures and why?"

Typically, petition pages in St. Joseph County are signed by hand by both the Republican and Democratic members of the Board of Voter Registration.

In early 2008, however, Silcott missed a number of days of work because of the death of her husband. Consequently, her first deputy, Mary Carrol Ringler, often stamped Silcott's signature on the pages.

Each of the suspected fake petition pages bears Silcott's stamped signature, indicating the documents passed through the office on days when she was off.

Though Ringler was the only person permitted to use the stamp, she kept it in an unlocked desk drawer, Silcott said.

In addition, Ringler only began working in voter registration on Jan. 22, 2008. The suspicious petition pages are dated Jan. 28 and 29 and Feb. 4 and 5, within the first two weeks of her arrival.

I want to see this debated!

Including no more federal taxpayer money for non-profits. No taxpayer money for any bureau or angency that doesn't serve any and all American citizens regardless of race or skin color.

I want to hear a candidate say that all illegal aliens will be deported and the jobs that they have been doing opened up to American citizens.
http://www.usillegalaliens.com/impacts_of_ill...

I want to hear a candidate say that parents, not the government, decide which schools receive education monies, including private schools. Either that or you give a tax break equal to the amount of money that the parents would have paid in taxes and tell the parents that that money now goes to the school of their choice. If public schools had to compete for their funding like private schools do, then someday the public schools would be as good as the private schools, now wouldn't they? As it stands now, public schools and the school districts have no incentive to do good because they know that they will get the money no matter what.

Make the whole country 'right-to-work' so that people have a choice of whether or not they WANT to join a union and have a job at the same time.

So the occupants in a apartment complex pays rent and a portion of that rent is used for taxes which goes to schools so the renter could choose what school their tax portion goes to?

Don't know how it's done in your state, but in NM people pay property taxes. A portion of those property taxes paid for by the person who owns the apartment comples goes into a pot that is supposed to pay for public education. More money comes from federal corporate and income tax monies that then go to the state and then the state gives that money to various school districts.

What I am saying is this. Supposed that School District A receives a total of $5K per student for poor education. Instead of giving that money to the crappy school district or crappy school, the parents get to decide which school receives that $5K. And instead of fat cat school district "educators" receiving big fat paychecks for overseeing said crappy schools, and good public school teachers receiving the same poor pay as the crappy public school teachers, parents decide which school they want to send their schools to. Those schools would then receive the $5K for that year. If the schools don't measure up, then the parents can move their kids to a school that does. Good schools would have parents waiting in line to sign their kids up. Those school would hire teachers and fire the bad ones. Education for grade K-12 would improve overall. The National Education Association would no longer be stealing teachers union dues so there's an increase in pay for them as well.

As it is now, many parents are paying taxes (federal and property) and having to fork out additional money just to make sure that their kids get a good education so that they can go to college and get a good job.

And if the fanatics for the unConstitutional separation of church and state get their panties in a wad, then instead of giving parents tax money, lower parents taxes such that it evens out and the parents can take it from there. This gets rid of the majority of Department of Education employees such that they only need so many to ensure that this money really did go to a school or for homeschooling materials and field trips. If fact, the local education department already knows how many students there should be and how mulla that means so they can ensure that the money is properly spend on education and not cars and vacations at the student's expense.

Oh ok I understand and that would be good. Currently the money only goes to public schools and if a person wants to send their children to a private school they have to pay additional for that. I know I did when my children went to private schools.
