Well, I guess it IS better to have a sense of humor about it.

But, it is incredibly interesting to watch how such a simple statement of fact can act like a freshly unrolled hang of fly paper, immediately attracting and capturing the most wildly negative and ignorant reactions.

Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius

Translated:

Kill them all. For the Lord knoweth them that are His.

By Arnaud Amalric (died 1225) a Cistercian monk named as a papal legate and inquisitor in the Albigensian Crusade from 1209–1229.

We can't pollute the faith now can we? We just might violate some other principle of faith like:

Matthew 5:9

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

I can't help but laugh, if I were to take them seriously and get angry I wouldn't be striving to be perfect as my heavenly parent is.

The fact that someone had to ask 'what book' in relation to People of the Book gave me a great laugh!

The only cure for ignorance is education, even to those who try their 'damnedest' to stay in the dark.

Hmmm, one way leads to Life, the other to death.

Interesting which one trumped the teachings of Jesus.

LOL..........
