CNN Asks Why Black Men Are Not Graduating from College

Could basic stupidty in the blacks have anything to do with it? Or maybe the curriculum is racist. There are not enough courses in car jacking, drug dealing, rape , robbery, welfare fraud, bad parenting, government dependency etc.

(from the story linked...)
"Some black men are too busy learning how to become thugs, and white America is too busy perpetuating racially-imbalanced institutions that keep Jim Crow alive in America"

LmAo!!! This nigguh thinks it's white people's fault that negroes who enroll in college don't graduate?

Maybe the course are just too hard for StarSeeds. Maybe colleges should just give away degrees for showing up, like public schools had to do once segregation ended....hmmm?

I'm having trouble agreeing with this man's opinion (below). His article could have been a powerful message if he put the responsibility on the people that ARE NOT graduating from college instead of everyone around them. Now these people can read this and still sit there, saying, "yep, see, that's why" and not change a thing.

Being a baller or rapper takes far less intelligence than a doctor? Are you kidding me? Sounds like he is lying to get people interested or feel good about themselves.

Not enough blacks in positions at colleges? But yet we do have blacks graduating from college. How are they pulling it off?

This guy had a chance to publish a good article slapping them in the head but instead his message was: "it's okay, it's not your fault". What if everyone thought like that? What if years ago, women thought they could never become doctors or lawyers because it was mostly men in those jobs or they had male professors?

----------

"...start giving permanent positions to black faculty so that black students can have role models too. A case in point is my brother's recent graduation from the Business School at Cornell University. I saw only one black professor out of dozens on the stage. Such outcomes should be appalling and unacceptable to all of us. I saw the same thing at my sister's graduation from medical school, where there was not a single black person in the entire group of faculty members.

Secondly, black males must raise their expectations. Being a baller or a rapper is all fine and good, but it takes far less intelligence to be a doctor or lawyer. In fact, I earned good grades by studying 4 6 hours a day, which is less than the amount of time I would have spent on my job at Taco Bell. If a man can "slang" fast food for 10 hours a day, then he should be able to study for half that time. It's time for black men to stop pretending to be stupid."

There was a time in history that blacks were denied education. Then the door was open and they were able have some formal schooling. It was a big thing to finish 8th grade to get a good job. Then the next generation started to push for getting a high school education to get a good job. Because some people dropped out of school before graduating, alternate schooling have came about. Those drop out students go back and get a GED. Some have went to trade schools. The push for going to college has always been about how much money a person can make in a chosen career.Still there are people that finish college and still are making less money as some than never went to college in their career. A garbage man that only finish high school generally make more money than school teachers. I am for higher education but reality say a degree want make you rich.
why couldn't black negroes develop their own edumacation system in sub saharan africa???......did you know that negroes have never even developed a written language???
