Thank you.I lost a perfectly good trucking career over 4 beers in my car back in 1996.I drove for 13 years accident free, and then that happened because of somebody that had a hard on for me turned me in from the bar that I worked in on my time off.So much for being nice to people, but I still work and live for the same boss that I did back then at the bar because he knew what I was worth.I would love to drive again, but the drivers that come here tell me that it is nothing like it was back then. The bmv wants $980.00 reinstatematent from me and I am just not willing to give that kind of money to them,so I haven't drove since 1996.

It could've been worse. I have a friend that has so many driving under suspension's that it is about $7,000 for his reinstatement fee. We all know of someone with DUI/s that has it rough, right as the same with losing a friend/family due to DUI. I was hurt bad on the job before, that had nothing to do with driving though it could've always been worse. Good Luck with it.

Not sorry that I have no pity for DUIers or what it might take for them to drive again. It's called 'the cost of doing business.'
