Unreal that this man is claiming to be some kind of victim in this. An example of someone so insensitive to the tragic event that led to this young man's violent death. I would expect better from any community member, let alone someone who was once romantically involved with the boy's mother. Traumatized by being asked questions? Seriously........suck it up Sally....a young child is dead and a family/comunity is grieving. Unreal!!!!

Let's play psychologist for a minute. The man launches his first press conference/media attack, claiming unfair treatment, the very morning that Garrett is being laid to rest. Who does that? Then, he waits until the community is gearing up to mark the one-year anniversary and he, again, takes control of the press with the focus on him. Sociopathic egos need stroking and need to be fed. He continues to go to the troth -- he's a bottom feeder. Sick, sick man.

just for a new york minute- imagine the guilt that boys mother must live with. knowing someone she once cared about took the most important thing from her life. her child. someone wanted to hurt her very badly- and they succeeded. OJ simpson finally got his- and the sick bastard that choked the life out of an innocent child- will get his just dues.odds are against this being a random killing of a child. this was an act of vengeance and wrath committed by someone with no conscience whatsoever. karma- take it to the bank-we all have to believe the truth will prevail and justice will be served.there will be no closure for all those who loved this tender young boy until the person who did this faces judgement and punishment for such an terrible crime against a defenseless child. POS is all i can say.i hope the killer sees the face of that child in his nightmares every day of his miserable life.

Are you people for real? You all are automatically saying "HE DID IT" Has that been proven? NO!! I honestly believe that he is innocent. Instead of everyone focusing on him they should be looking for the killer and I think its someone that everyone will least expect. Oh, and btw, if any of you were wrongly accused you would want justice too. Potsdam PD is useless, they cant solve a murder case or a bank robbery but they sure do know how to pass out tickets left & right and act like they are above the law.

racism rears its ugly head in this town in interesting ways, for instance how eager so much of the population is to crucify a man despite any evidence actually pointing to his guilt beyond innuendos and topix sniping.

Real crimes require routine police work, but the local donut patrol only knows writing tickets, harassing brown men, hitting on female bartenders, and speeding through traffic lights with the flashers on.

Violent stalkers come in all colors - this isn't about race. And if he hadn't stalked the family prior to the murder, he more than likely wouldn't have been the focus of an investigation and detained for questioning. He needs to take ownership for the reasons people suspect him and stop whining about the justice he deserves for being a potential suspect in the murder of a young boy. And I agree...who the he*l has a press conference to whine about the press when the boy's funeral is taking place? He couldn't wait one more day for that out of respect for the family? If he was innocent, he would have told himself his beef was with the media and the police and not the poor grieving family. Sounds to me that his actions speak greatly about wanting to inflict pain on someone and stroke his ego. His behavior is the reason for the spotlight - not the color of his skin.

ok lets not loose track of the real problem.... A child was murdered a family is grieving and there is still no justice. yes this man should have been quistioned! He dated the mother of Garrett! And where is the mother no one has heard a word from her?? The pain she must be feeling You would think you would be begging for closure yet the grandparents uncles and aunts are true to the end and Justice must be served. This was an innocent child! This family has suffered enough and lets all pray that the end will come and Justice will be served.

I would have to say I agree with you. I know the whole family and your right the mother has not said or done anything that I know of. She should be the first one to be saying anything but she isnt. Is she still seeing this coach that everyone is suspecting? Maybe that is why she is sitting back and being so quiet about the whole thing.

Really, you stoop that low? Just because the mother doesn't act as an advocate doesn't mean she is culpable. Not everyone is cut out emotionally to take on that role and thankfully, someone in Garrett's family is - his Uncle Brian. We should be raising him up, keeping him in prayer, supporting him and not part of some effort to brandish Garrett's family as responsible for such a tragedy. My guess is by the last line of your post, Confused, you are linked to Hillary in some manner and trying to do the usual - divert attention from him. HE IS A STALKER. STALKERS CAN KILL. Women should beware, including the girlfriend/mother of his children. Stalking doesn't mean he is guilty - but it certainly means it is possible.

You have no idea what Brian is going through. As for the "living high on the hog" he has a board of directors overseeing the fund you ignorant a*s so why don't you take your unbelievably self-centered, unkind and insensitive insults elsewhere and figure out if it is your small penis that makes you so in need to put down people in pain, or your lack of intellect.

i am so sick of everyone crying racism over the simplest thing. get over yourselves already. of course he was questioned...so weren't many others..but you don't see them trying to sue anyone...the cops are doing there jobs by questioning people. ugh people disgust me these days. a wonderul life was taken, you would think a person would have no problem talking to the police to find this horrible murderer.
