Would be much higher if the Vatican didn't keep it secret.

..... The victims or their parents should have gone to the police AT THE TIME and laid formal complaints, then helping the police to collect sufficient evidence with which to convict lawbreakers in court. Religions' leaders are not entitled to enforce the criminal code.

The church knew what was going on, they cycled the priests through a counseling program then sent them back on the hunt

like skeltons in a closet (family, relationships, skools, neighborhood, community). We're actually hearing about cases/events everyday in TV local news - yet we don't hear a peep from these 'accusers' about what to do keep the community safe.

Where are they?

Are you implying the accusers are the victims? If you are, you're way off base.......that would be like saying the victims bear some responsibility, as if they would have a bit of insight into how to prevent such abuse.

Is that what you are saying?
