What I've never been able to understand is all the wealthy ass-kissing that goes on here on Topix. Nobody on these boards is rich - not by today's standard of rich. Wealthy people don't sit around wasting time on message boards. So why are so many of you sucking up to the wealthy who wouldn't give you the time of day? Hell, you're lucky some of them the give you a job instead of handing it to some Pakistani or illegal Mexican. While your company CEO is heading out to his company paid vacation home in the Bahamas you're working your ass off for the same salary you were making 3 years ago.

Quit fooling yourself. The rich aren't doing you any favors. They've sucked up most of America's money and the rest of us are struggling to make up the lost revenue from taxes not paid on money hidden in various off shore tax shelters. Wake up.

I can answer your question, it is because there are still a lot of people who don't beleive in the give away welfare democrat moocher class. That believe in personal responsibility and that you create your own success and don't have a right to have it handed to you. That takes them out of your democratic liberal camp.
