that is bull shit! the kid got off because he has money. he knows what he did and will live with that for the rest of his life, unless he is really that cold hearted. which you can only imagine if he was capable of what he did in the first place.

Amazing the potty mouth and aggressive attitude of these anti self defense fanatics. Not nearly amazing as the conclusions drawn by the same ant self defense fanatics. Who would deprive people of their most basic civil rights. The God given right to defend our own lives. The photos show the young man that was horribly beaten. One more kick could have easily ended his life. My guess based upon your lack of empathy is that you have never even seen anyone beaten that badly. Even less likely that you have ever been beaten within an inch of your life as this young man obviously was. Or do you resent him because he was able to defend himself while at some point you have proven that you lack stones to defend yourself? Is that the source of your animosity?
We do agree that this young man will forever regret that the miserable cretin had to be shot to stop his vicious attack. Reasonable sane men are able to feel compassion and empathy even for those would victimize them. But that regret is a far better thing to live with than if he has allowed that animal to maim mutilate him further, or kill him as it does appeared to have been his intent. A group of thugs do not beat someone to the ground and than proceed to put the boots to them if they did not intend to main mutilate or murder that person.
Thankfully a jury of his peers honorable honest men & women our fellow citizens with all the facts before them came to ad just conclusion despite the persecutors distortion of facts in an attempt to further their career and profit from this tragedy. Hopefully some good will come of this. Hopefully these violent vicious criminals will see that we the people will not tolerate groups of thugs attacking and assaulting our fellow law abiding citizens.
