In Hungarian language #Olah# means #vlah#, the ancient name for Romanians people, George Andrei #Olah# was romanian born in Hungary.
'From the Slavs, it was passed on to other peoples, such as the Hungarians ("Oláh", referring to Romanians; "Olasz", referring to Italians, "Vlachok" referring to Vlachs, generally) and Byzantines/Greeks ("Βλ άχο ι", "Vláhi") and was used for all Latin people of the Balkans.'
Vlach (pronounced /ˈvlɑ 20;k/ or /ˈvlćk/) is a Slavic-derived term (originally borrowed from Germanic *Walha), which is used to designate the Roman speaking peoples of South-Eastern Europe: Romanians, Aromanians, Megleno-Romanians and Istro-Romanians.
