Creationism teaching varies at Christian universities

People who believe in young-earth creationism are crazy. There is no evidence that the earth is less than 10,000 years old. Even the evidence for old-earth creationism is scant.
The evidence for evolution is overwhelming, but evolution does not mean that there was active involvment by a deity. Remember there are billions and billions of planets in the universe with the possibility of life on them. God could use evolution as the method to create life on this planet. Since we are not terminally unique in this universe, it would make sense that a all-powerful deity would use the evolution as the method; especially when there is many other places where is this life in the universe.
This is unproveable but makes sense to me
