These hate crime perpetrators need to be made an example of and never released back to soceity. They have proven numerous times they cannot function in a civilized society.

Bah. This is a bullshite "statistic" and a bullshite story.

"The FBI does not compare year-to-year trends in hate crimes, saying the number of agencies reporting changes too much. In fact, the bureau cautioned that the increase reported Monday might well be due to more agencies tracking such incidents."

Very true. And they’d be in prison getting exactly what they wanted all along.

And it is most likely just going to get worse as time goes along, Because they just dont know when to stop with pushing their agenda and stealing the votes from the american people.

Not sure why either of you would feel so strongly that you think violence is the answer. Perhaps you should do some soul searching to better understand your hate and what’s driving it. Rational people can have differences of opinion and not condone violence.

I’ll say not more, but, hate will consume you if you let it. Get some help for you own benefit. You should seek first to understand, then to be understood.

I dont and will never condone violence toward anybody (staight or gay), But like I stated earlier. The more the gay community pushes their agenda. The more hatred they will get in the future.

It's not a hate crime if it's done against a white heterosexual male...

In most cases, statistics are usually used by politically correct types to manipulate public opinion and emotions and not to scientifically inform. All you have to do to skew statistics is cherry pick your data by leaving out unwanted findings that go against what you want to report.

Statistics are only as accurate as the flawed data they represent.

Knowing this, it's possible that hate crimes against gays actually rose by a much higher margin than what was actually reported in the first place. How many states don't report this data, or even recognize hate crimes? According to the article, a LOT.

Until we get standardized reporting across the board of these types of hate crimes, an article claiming an increase in gay hate crimes, or any hate crimes, is futile and nonfactual at best, and a outright politically motivated lie, at worst.

You are right, So where is the equal rights in that when it comes to the hate crime bill that they just passed into law? I guess equal rights only go to certain groups of people.

So, you are an American, and don't even bother to capitalize it?

And I addressed this bogus claim you make about gays "pushing their agenda" in the post to Toby.

But anyway, no large group or classification of people in FREE, DEMOCRATIC "America" should be forced to be treated like second class citizens with less rights than anyone else living here. And anyone who thinks discrimination against ANYONE is acceptable political treatment in America needs to move to a nice country with a dictator in charge and learn what civil rights are all about, since you won't have any then.

The gay "agenda" is equal civil rights, PERIOD.

Anyone in America who hates the gays because they demand to have EQUAL CIVIL RIGHTS while the religious zealots and politically correct crowd tries to deny gays these equal civil rights needs to leave America and learn what EQUAL CIVIL RIGHTS means in a DICTATORSHIP.

And the fact we had a republican president who PROMOTED DISCRIMINATION against gays as part of his political platform while his vice president had a gay daughter, is bigoted and blind political hypocrisy at it's finest. And it shows he knew absolutely nothing about freedom or the equal civil rights America was founded on.

Bullshite.

Knowing it was a lie, the homosexual advocacy organizations aggressively and successfully promoted the belief that homosexuals represent 10% of the population in America. Those groups were recently forced in federal court to admit that the true percentage is more like 2-3% or perhaps even lower. What did that agenda and campaign have to do with "civil rights?"

Children in public schools are given information on "fisting." What does that agenda have to do with "civil rights?"

Homosexual organizations have joined with the ACLU to wage an aggressive war against the Boy Scouts because the Supreme Court affirmed the BSA's Constitutional right to decide the rules of their membership. What does that agenda and campaign have to do with "civil rights?"

And it's the left that has had a multi-year campaign of demanding "politically correct" behavior, not the right. Your attempt to reverse that truth is the latest lie in a campaign of lies. What does that have to do with "civil rights?"

The fact is that homosexuals and their advocacy organizations have many agendas that have nothing to do with "civil rights."

Another lie, as proven by the aggressive war against the Boy Scouts.

Yes it is. The new hate crime expansion covers sexual orientation, not homosexuals. But I don't think it's very likely gay people are going to beat up a straight guy for being straight.

Sexual orientation covers straights too. You are equally protected. Just like whites are as equally protected as blacks under race.

I'm sure they used the terms female agenda and black agenda and slave agenda too when they wanted equality. It's always an "agenda" when it is people standing up against them to gain equal civil rights. We should start calling them out on their Christian agenda to force everyone to live under their religious beliefs.
