The Tribune missed a wonderful opportunity, they should have endorsed the three woman, Glendora has had a male majority long enough, the last thing we need is a real estate salesman, insurance salesman and a song and dance man. A total of 4 woman on the board would certainly be unique. I have the feeling this town would gain much publicity from a female city council resulting in increased revenue.

The Fields supporters also support Cynthia. It is time for the torch to be passed and Cynthia has the talent to go national.

I agree, a missed opportunity indeed. And to see Nagy as the representative of Glendora's young generation was disappointing.

I would ask the same of the other candidates as I ask of Erica Landsmann=Johnsey..........

I have been introduced to many of the candidates for city council I know some of them personally. Each time I meet someone new I learn more about my own choices for the upcoming election. I will admit Erica is not one of favorites but I would like to know a bit more about her.

Such as:

How involved is she in our city programs?

She is a reading teacher,is she involved in the city library?

Does she volunteer at any of the schools, hospitals, relay for life, scouts, church, etc.?

Does she belong to any organization such as Kiwanis or Rotary?

What does she feel she can do with one vote?

What on earth possesses her to take on this grueling job? I'm sure she is aware the opposition can be cruel!

This same newspaper has taken another BAD set of candidates and failed to mention ALL the BAD these three have hanging around their necks!

A recent article (Jan. 28) in a local newspaper regarding the construction and happenings at Rio Hondo College, Whitter Ca..

The article briefly touched on the construction of the Administration of Justice building for the police academy located on campus.

She failed to mention that because of the state of California's suspension of academy classes there are no cadets to attend classes in the new building. We have Joseph Santoro of Glendora California to thank for that screw up! Matter of fact 'old joe' is trying to run for a seat on the Glendora city council, must need another pension or legal protection from the investigation on going from his Rio Honda mess up, or he got caught..

The voters approved a bond specifically for the construction of a multi-million dollar "Police Academy" building which will possibly go vacant or be used for some obscure classes.

At a time when the state is broke, and students are required to pay more and more for their education, I don't understand why someone isn't questioning this misuse of taxpayer dollars.

Those three will end up raping Glendora California worse than Douglas Tessitor has already done.

Why not just address this to ALL CANDIDATES instead of Erica and all candidates? You sound like a flake in hiding.

Fields intern experience at the age of 18 makes him an ideal candidate to work in the library filing returned books. How in the world does he take experience when he was 18-20 years old as an intern, making xerox copies and other midless tasks and then tell the citizens of Glendora he has experience as a city manager. He is good at spreading B.S., but maybe he should stay focussed on protecting his 2nd amendment rights and stay out of Glendora politics.
Fields and Nagy think they own Glendora, they both post their signs where ever they feel like it, without regard to the sign ordinance.
Nagy is just a puppet for Bob Kuhn.
Erica is a puppet for John Harold.
Cynthia needs to focus on passing the BAR and getting some work experience.
Santoro is a great candidate and I have looked into the RIo Hondo stuff and he is not under investigation. He did everything right, reporting the incident in an honest, ethical manner.
Nelson needs a puppet master to help her in the forums.
Still undecided, but no on NAGY and FIELDS. He can dance and sing all he wants out of office.

FYI - Cynthia is a licensed attorney and is opening her practice in Glendora.

You need to put the rumors to rest.

She is an attorney. She has worked on the national level in juvenile justice, child welfare, family law, non-profit executive who testified on the hill to promote education. Are you against her because she accomplished so much and at the young age of 32 is beginning her law practice? She can work hard on council and is going to represent us well in the San Gabriel Valley AND the national level. Just watch!

Vote for her because she is what makes our town great.

Ps Abe, Cynthia has balls. Running with this bunch alone in our city? Ballsy. I'd hire her. For council or as my lawyer.

Since you've spouted off so much on Erica's education, which I'd agree she has though zero common sense, why is it that in many of your posts your language skills are so lacking?

Looks like someone needs to go back and get their GED.
