Uh... a lot of the CSULB chicks are fat, so going on a committed diet will be a first for them. Some of these fatties walking around campus in spandex shorts makes me want to hurl. Let's get this hunger strike started!!

CSULB is one of the more radical of the unbelievably expensive taxpayer funded California universities, probably second only to Berkley.*(of "filthy speech" fame)*

Since the revolution, the taxpayer funded curriculum has been changed from one of learning into one where us kids are indoctrinated in State sponsored political correctness, for purposes of revolutionary social engineering.

Many of the failed post-60's 70's era revolutionary Government social and economic programs were cooked up by high paid activist taxpayer supported "professors" and their ilk. Many of California's free-spending-out-of control politicians received their training in "the system".*(so to speak)*

In accordance with revolutionary objectives, only a token amount of tuition is paid by taxpayer subsidized students themselves. Most of that hard earned tuition money is paid by the oppressed increasingly impoverished minority of Californians who pay taxes. The financial machinations employed to fund this bloated beast are so devious and so complex that no one knows its true cost.

Let us kids unite in fraternal solidarity in support of the hard working minority of impoverished taxpayers whose declining meager worth is being used to pay our way. Our demands are simple. Either $$$ Big School $$$ reforms itself, or we will stop eating.

At least some of our kids are smart enough to know that the UC systems unbridled union greed has created this financial nightmare. Bravo to these clear thinking young people.

Oh yea, a hunger strike makes sense. Starve yourself to bring attention to your cause? The world is full of starving people so how would this make news? I have to apply for food stamps to supplement what I cannot afford. I am starving so what is my cause?
The only attention this brings is the stupidity of the person starving.
Kids now a days cannot afford to go to college with tuition rising, the cost of books and just living to survive. Now that is real starving!

Selling our State Democratic Party to the Unions is starving most everything in the State. How could we have been so cruel and thoughtless? Our poor kids don't stand a chance.

Kids can pirate books off the internet and put it on their iPad. They can also find many textbooks in a google search, read the texts assigned to them, and never have to buy the book. Get current to available technology before you start popping off, or you sound ridiculous.

We all own our share of the disgrace. We stopped paying attention to the actions of our elected officials years ago. Most citizens, even parents, don't even bother to vote.

Great point made!!! Students at that school will do anything for attention rather than understanding what their 15 minutes of fame will result in.
