Holy cow! Gerrie smacked down DeLong and that pathetic creepshow Randy Gordon without breaking a sweat!
Nice job, Gerrie!!!!

Don't be too hard on Gerrie. Like all of the left wing lunatics on the LB City Council she has never had a JOB that wasn't financed by Tax Slaves. LB voters in most Districts shun accomplishment and neither understand nor appreciate the time effort and energy required to work off the public dole.
The complete lack of real work a day world life experience that is the defining characteristic of what pass for Democrat policians in today's California is astonishing. The fact that our State is rated the WORST in the nation for Private Sector job creation is a failure of epic proportion.

I have not been keeping up with this debate, nor do I have any interest in doing so. Nonetheless, it has been said that the "Long Beach Chamber *(has entered)* The Gary vs. Gerrie Feud".
Ordinary overtaxed and underrepresented worker *("middle")* class Long Beach consumers should consider the source when giving weight to such entrants. Let us recall that, when Revolutionary Council imposed its despicable Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax, rather than coming out in defense of their overcharged consumers, the Long Beach business community meekly submitted to "the program".

Gerrie's the least crazy of all the dems that have held office in LB. At least she does get some things done, and is approachable by members of the community.
DeLong, on the other hand, is the antichrist.

Before we take sides with the Long Beach business community in this matter, perhaps we should recall that Gerrie Schipske opposed "job destroying" Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment taxes being imposed on overtaxed and underrepresented Long Beachers - most of whom are the poor and the downtrodden.

Susan, susan. If you are referring to the fact that I have worked in the corporate world most of my life, then perhaps that is what you refer to as not having a job that wasn't financed by "tax slaves" since most corporations do receive quite a bit of corporate welfare from government. Currently I run my own medical legal practice and sadly collect no corporate welfare. My council job is part time.

I based my opinion on the fact that you vote with the diabolical Public Sector Union funding operatives so often that I mistook you for nothing more than some anti business, anti prosperity, union funding hack Lowenthal. I stand corrected
Nothing against you personally. The City is going down the tubes by every available measure and you have been in office for a very long time so I am just frustrated by our race to the bottom.
