You are exactly right...Thumbing their noses at our laws means their character is lacking. I don't care how American she feels in her heart of ice, she still is living here illegally. Since this job is in a "gray area", does that gray area include paying taxes, or has she figured out a way to get around that as well? She might endear herself to us if she started the procedures to rectify her status, but I am sure that she is quite content living here illegally...after all, look what she has gotten away with up to now. Ho integrity, no personal responsibility, just a continuous case of the gimmee gimmes.

And they want automatic citizenship! they feel they've earned it by being here illegally, how can they feel American when they don't care to be patriotic enough to RIGHT their WRONG. If citizenship is unjustly given to them this doesn't mean they will be model citizens because chances are they will want to retain their mexican citizenship also....in which case neither country CAN TRUST THEM WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR LOYALTY....they should be made to decide which country's citizenship they want to keep. Should the necessity arise that militarily they are needed to serve the US, or Mexico... WHAT THEN??? I think dual citizenship is WRONG.

RE: Illegal immigrants find paths to college, careers
..... How much would it cost to ensure no more illegals can get into the country, to find out who is an illegal and got in, and to push illegals out of the country? It would cost a fortune, but nobody would want to pay for that. The result is that things are kept as they are; those who want action should pay for that action.

Have these undocumented but 'educated" students consider seeking work in the Countries that their parents are from? I hate to throw these kids to the wolves but the US labor market is at a stand still.

And if she happens to accomplish that dream by the use and or modification of our laws then what's the problem?

more foolish waste.

illegal aliens need only be locked up until being deported. our school should only have citizens and legal immigrants all others should be locked up while trying to register.

Sheryl......I've worked in the electrical field for many years. It would always be good to have my own business such as a lawn service. I have enough saved to buy the equipment. How much should I charge for the average yard ? I would also expect a tip.

I too work 4 days a week, 7.5 hours as day as a private practice Psychiatrist and I earn, after all taxes and other expenses $100.00 and hour. Too bad illegal aliens like you will always be digging ditches, scrubbing toilets, hooking on corners, sweeping floors, and so on.
