Gas company advertisements keep saying the U.S. is the Saudia Arabia of Natural Gas.

There must be so much gas, that the companies don't have to keep track of it to make lots of money. I suspect the company charges customers for the leaky gas that doesn't make it to the customers.

So the gas company doesn't NEED to care about the leaks.

As the Howarth study shows, leaks simply destroy gas's claim to a cleaner emissions footprint. It's every bit as dirty as coal, or nearly so.

Fossil fuels are the problem, period.
