On the other hand, Obama could be a member of Jeremiah Wright's church for years, attend services, and listen to the message -- and tell the press that he was clueless as to Jeremiah's Wright's "God damn America" message. I am sure that, at one time, Jeremiah Wright would have written glowing reports of Obama's faith as well.
Either Obama is lying about not hearing and agreeing with (by his continues membership and attendance) Jeremiah Wright or he is a hypocrite because he did hear and agree, but when the press found out about it, he distanced himself. Since either of these was his modus operandi then, I have no reason to expect it to be different now.

... Obama certainly heard and agreed with Wright's "corporate salvation" sermons taken straight from liberation theology, the same "theology" Schori espoused when she condemned individual salvation as "heretical" in the opening speech of a recent General Convention.

Nope. No comparison. Different subjects altogether. An attempt at misdirection on your part.

Your post is the misdirection: black or white, liberation theology is still heretical.

Nope. You again attempt to misdirect by making a blanket statement and accusation of "heresy."

You made an improper comparison, attempting to discredit PB Kate Jefferts-Schori by drawing a parallel comparison between two completely different and skewed lines of reason.

No can do.

Nope. It was Kate Schori who made the accusation that individual salvation was "heretical".

According to who? A New Ager like you?

Still trying to foist the first lie you told in this thread?

Sorry. Won't work.

Wright's sermons, as far as I've been able to discern, were about
an entirely different subject. Furthermore, what you call "liberation theology" also has no specific definition and is certainly NOT what PB Jefferts-Schori was talking about in the referenced remarks above.

And, no, I'm not a "new-ager." That is, unless you have some way of defining what that is so that I can agree or disagree with your non-specific characterizations. But, judging by your nebulous and reverse definition of "orthodoxy," I'll wager that you can't make a definition for "new-ager." But, of course, you are certainly welcome to present your understanding of what such a "new-ager" is supposed to be. Go ahead; I'd like to see it.

Otherwise, it looks like your only defense for your irresponsible comments is to throw out some semi-popular buzzword accusations of others and leave such balonius blather to be figured out in everybody else's mind as to what you actually mean.

Good luck with that. But, it won't work over here where we are busied with the work of spreading the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

I wonder why romans always scream heresy.

I guess it's easier to just kill those who disagree with Mother Church (who disagrees with Messiah Yeshua) when you know they are right and you're wrong and you don't want anyone to know.

LOL.....
