Jesus said to them,“If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God." John 8:42
Or was that one of those "late additions" written by the Roman thought police in order to control the masses?
lol.
Jesus always pointed to His father, aka GOD.

BTW, nice recent version.

You are.
LOL - Is that the best you have to offer?

As for you belonging to Christ Jesus, well He loves all of us sinners even you. I don't think He wants slaves even if He never actually condemned the practice in His preaching. Isn't that a curious moral oversight?

Battle Hymn of the Republic

In the beauty of the lilies
Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom
That transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy,
Let us die to make men free;
While God is marching on.

Chorus
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

It is the best *you* can offer.

We should not expect sane comments from someone who is insane.

Are you stupid?

Christians FOLLOW Jesus.

Muslims and Christians are waiting for the return of Jesus.

Jews, Muslims and Christian worship and live by God, unless they are exclusive bigots (you're much the same as the fundamental Muslims).

The Jews are God's chosen people.

*wink wink

Don't wait for God to decide who are His children, you make sure that YOU tell them God hates them.

LOL!

Wot an idiot.........

... when muslims claim He will destroy all crosses and turn Jews into swine?

By defintion, all Christians follow the Christ, but in TEC, not all Christians are His disciples; in fact, many have their own agendas.

I know it's worthless, at least to me. That's why I didn't stop my education there, but continued it.

You should try it, learning is fun.

At least my studies in Rome on Church History wasn't a waste, and Church present. The present behavior and history of your roman cult are just two reasons I left.

Why did you leave. again.....

You are so slow on the uptake it is truly sad to see.

TEC Book of Common Prayer: Baptismal Covenant

Question: Do you turn to Jesus Christ and accept him as your Savior?
Answer: I do.

Question: Do you put your whole trust in his grace and love?
Answer: I do.

Question: Do you promise to follow and obey him as your Lord?
Answer: I do.

I am sure that in your church you’re just pushed underwater and the magic words are said over you by the preacherman. In our church we also have to take vows to become members. We have a much more personal experience in our Baptism. In addition, we have to repeat our vows whenever we witness a Baptism, Confirmation or attend the Great Vigil of Easter services in our church.
