where in your big book of lies does it say that a lesbian can't be a soccer coach?

I see you've also bought into the lie about a "gay lifestyle".

First, let me say that I do not approve of the gay lifestyle. It is so foreign to me that I do not understand it. OK, so that is me. BUT, I do accept that my sexuality way is not the only way. Also, the Bible is against gay relationships.

That said, I must acknowledge that NOWHERE in the Bible does it say that anyone adhering to a gay lifestyle must be persecuted in any way. Quite the contrary. Christianity is a religion of inclusion. Where it does not approve of gay relationships, it also does not approve of persecution in any fashion.

If the women's soccer coach is a lesbian, it is her business. As long as she is not trying to "convert" or "seduce" anyone else, what is the problem? It is not like being gay is the same as having a communicable disease and therefore threatens the health and life of others.

Christians WAKE UP!! BE a Christian and become more Christ-like. LOVE is the answer. Remember what Christ said about the most important commandment? "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, spirit, and strength. The second is like unto it. Love your neighbor as yourself. All of the laws and prophets rest on these two commandments."

Self-righteousness has no place in Christianity.

I applaud Belmont for their decision. I sent my child there and have paid private tuition precisely because of how Belmont handles these issues. Belmont is a private christian school and it should be assumed that the leadership would uphold fundamental christian principles. That is the point of living in a free country with private organizations that shouldn't be controlled by the government. This coach can get a job elsewhere with a group of individuals who support her lifestyle. I don't want my kids around people that live a gay lifestyle and should have the freedom to put them in the environment that upholds the values they were raised with. I don't care if people agree with me or not...it's a free country which means I also have rights and can choose a lifestyle. Her rights end where mine begin. Since her values clash with foundational christian principles, then perhaps she shouldn't have taken a job with a private university with historical christian ties.

Very well put. Thank you. Homosexuality is wrong ONLY for those that believe in the Bible and its teachings. Just because so called Christians believe the Bible to be right doesn't make it so. So much from the Bible has been misinterpreted and has been manipulated to fit so called Christians' way of thinking. Those teachings and doctrines should not be pushed on others and crammed down our throats.

I wouldn't want my child around closeminded, self righteous, judgmental, tunnel visioned and ignorant wannabe Christians like you either. When was the last time you walked on water, deemed a perfect human being and was given the "Christian" right to judge & condemn this coach, O Holy One? Why wasn't her lifestyle discussed at the time Belmont hired this coach? This is a clear case of discrimination and Belmont should be admonished for it not to mention be made to pay out of their a&&es for it as well.

I know for a fact that Trevecca Nazarene University has pedophiles and homosexual men and women working on both staff and faculty. However, I don't see this Christian university firing any of them for their lifestyles. Belmont needs to take a lesson from Trevecca on how to treat others.

Belmont shouldn't be forced to keep a lesbian child-molester on the payroll if they don't want to.
There's really no good reason, and much liability, in knowingly allowing homosexuals to be around students.
Homosexuals are incapable of self-control and devoid of any concept of boundaries, and it's highly inappropriate to allow them to be in a position they will inevitably abuse.

Neither should the HOMOSEXUAL perversion be "crammed down our thoats" pun intended. I don't care if Homosexuals eat poop, popcorn, or peanuts out of each other's azz, I refuse to let any intolerant bigot tell me that it's normal. Once you get sucked into the HOMOSEXUAL lifestyle you assume all of the physical properties of water. It always seeks the lowest level. AIDS = "Adios Infected *ick Sucker."

So you think Belmont needs to hire pedophiles? If you know for a fact that someone is a pedophile, you have a moral and legal obligation to report it to the authorities. As far as asking about lifestyle before someone is hired, that is illegal, moron. Belmont is a private university, therefore they can fire someone for a good reason, a bad reason or no reason at all. While I don't necessarily agree with the firing and feel that Belmont could have handled it better, they were perfectly within their rights to do so.

You have a strange fascination with what you imagine other people might be doing, don't you?

No one in this article mentioned the kinds or frequency of sex this woman might be having, compared to the sorts of sexual activities her fellow teachers were engaging in in privacy.

I wonder why that's were YOUR mind went?

It's always so strange to me, why bigot's minds are ALWAYS fixated on sex.

It's creepy.
