Tenn. Lawmaker Moves to Ban Gay Protection Laws
The mayor of Nashville made headlines last month when he proposed a statute on the books protecting LGBT citizens from discrimination in employment if they work in companies that do business with the government.

It sounds like Romer v. evans is applicable here which his proposal would fly in the face of.
