Isn't it sad that the mayor cares more about cutting costs than the safety of Muncie residnets? I understand budget cuts but not on neccessities. And it doesn't add up anyways! Compare the size of the city and # of firemen to other cities, wow! Looks like a huge misatke that sadly the residents may pay for. As for more volunteers, ask a firemen, you'll be shocked at what a volunteer cannot do at a fire. I would feel much more secure and safe knowing a REAL firemen was protecting me!!!!! Muncie needs to fight for their firemen!!!!!!!!!!
