Pray with your kids, talk to them, spend time with them, Love them. Life is short, before you know it they are grown and gone.

The sad reason that things like this happen is that the public has been given so much innaccurate information on mental illness b/c of the govt.- pharma relationship. NAMI is one of the worst offenders. They disclosed that they recieve 80% of their funding from pharma companies only after being forced to make that disclosure by senator Grassley. The mental health industry does not make information clearly known about schiziphrenia and other psychosis b/c they are rare and they focus more on medicating needlessly with ADHD meds and antidepressants b/c those are unneccessary and can be huge profit makers for pharma b/c they are given on an outpatient basis with no monitoring.
The best thing to do if a loved one is sufferring, is to consult a private therapist and have them evaluated and possibly referred to a private psychatrist. The $300 this would cost could save the family from a lifetime of tragedy, incarcerations, hospitalizations and worsening symptoms by avoiding the simple improper drug treatements given by CSB's.

Give them more of their time and attention. Trust and follow in Christ, instill respect for self and others, discipline to learn and become productive, self reliant, and INDEPENDENT!
