BooneBiz, you have a very curious way of thinking, and no, nobody's opinion will change here, but I am just wondering some things...You don't believe in alcohol sales to college students or at all?. Why do you single out college students? You have to be 21 to buy alcohol so these are legal adults right? If you don't support selling alcohol to college students, does this mean you don't support the many restaurants, convenient stores, and grocery stores in town that sell to students? For someone who is running a business trying to promote Boone business, you sure do discount a tremendous amount of potential clients. You seem very anti business to me. Are you aware of more than you are letting on here, that perhaps the female employee was drunk and set this man up?

How can you have a selective business directory? That is as unethical as selling alcohol to college students or whatever you have a problem with...

I am female not male. I do not work for BooneBiz. I do not appreciate you trying to blame the female staff member for what happened.(She must have been drunk or involved in a kinky sex scenario!) Give me a break!! None of us know what happened but I have met this man and I am not surprised to here that he may have lost his temper and put his hands on a young girl that he was dating. A young girl who is probably more then 10 years younger then him. If that doesn't convince you that he is a predator then I don't know what does. BooneBiz does not support selling alcohol to college students and that is his right so stop being a jerk and leave him alone.

I can select whoever I want in my directory. That's why it's my business! By the way, if you're ever fortunate enough to have your own business, look me up. We'll compare bank accounts.

Well, where to begin...

pjmtngirl- What do you think happened here? What's your best theory? I'd like to hear it. This man was dating a girl at least ten years younger than him, and I'm supposed to be convinced he's a "predator"? Hardly. She chose to date him too right? Let's face it, when a girl is in her early 20's dating a man in his mid 30's, she's only interested in one thing,$$$. She sounds like a gold digger to me.

BooneBiz-You're a discriminator. You discriminate against college students. You also stated in your first post that you're glad the Parthenon was not listed with your directory. Really? That's not what I found.

You also don't support selling alcohol to college students, who in order to buy alcohol, are 21 year old legal adults. You certainly don't seem have any problems letting Cafe Portofino, Klondike, the former Library, Macados, Murphy's list with you. Do you know what they all have in common....? I think you know....

Also, Mulberry St., Outback Kates, The Wildflower...Are you for real...? Do you even live in Boone?

From all appearances BizOnline- you are a discriminator, hypocrite, and very uninformed with business in Boone which you are trying to make money from.

None of this makes sense BooneBiz....

Just so you know, in all fairness to the business I added Parthenon to the directory prior to your search. I didn't feel that it was fair to be discriminatory when I myself did not know all of the facts. So, yes you are right in that I let my personal feelings get in the way here. OK, I'll admit that I have some very strong opinions where the use of alcohol is concerned. Not suprising though considering that I struggled with alcoholism for 24 years. My main concern here (believe it or not) is the future well-being of these bright young college students who have everything going for them. I've seen alcoholism destroy alot of good natured and intelligent people. I certainly hope that none of these young people have to deal with that. This whole situation has revealed to me a part of myself that I have been unaware of. We all have some degree of prejudice against one thing or another, mine just happens to be alcoholic beverages. Point well taken, these are adults. They are mature enough to make their own decisions and hopefully they will make the right ones. Even though I have very strong opinions on several viewpoints in this situation, it was not right for me to openly state them. Therefore, I stand to be corrected. Sometimes it takes feedback from others to fully understand and clarify our own thoughts; this has been one of those situations for me. This has not been an attack on college students who drink, rather it has been an expression of my own dislike of alcohol. Addressing the legal issues surrounding this matter, I think that you have an insider's view of this situation. In all fairness, we've all made mistakes and I can only wish the best for Nick and his business. From what you have shared with me, I feel confident that these things are not what they appeared to be. I am ready to admit the mistakes that I have made regarding this situation, lay it to rest and let the healing process begin. This has been a learning experience for me and I hope so for others as well.

BooneBizOnline, with every post you are making yourself look worse. I can't imagine anybody wanting to do "biz" with you after reading this. I've been to your website, I think it's nice that you let a group of 1st graders design it.

i am a college student in boone. a girl i wait tables with at another business said she got a job there, and that nick would smack her on the ass and rub and touch other girls too. she said he would take girls to the back and give them cocaine and get them to do sexual things with him. she quit her first day. everyone knows in town nick is a coke head and harasses the bartenders and waitresses. its a well known fact. glad someone finally called the cops on him. its gone on for years. what an asshole.

BooneBiz, you made a huge mistake by getting on here and writing stupid posts. It would have been a mistake for anyone who runs a business like yours to post anything on here. Good luck trying to recover.
