Yes, of all organizations News Corp. should know that accusing the Democratic President of being responsible for a poor economy is "politics." I'd go so far as to say that it's "politics as usual," in fact.:)

obama has done nothing for the working or middle classes. While he inherited a poor economy he has allowed his corporate masters and banksters to steal this country blind. Living wage are being replaced with jobs that do not pay enough to support a family. When I grew up in the late 40's and 50's it was possible to raise a family with one income. I believe our economy has been manipulated by wall street sociopaths and the damage has been deliberate and both parties share the blame equally.

He inherited a poor economy? You mean one losing
700,000 jobs a month? A stock market that had lost half its value? A housing industry flat on its back?
Two unfinished wars?

The present economy may not be as good as a lot of
people would like, but compared to the George W. Bush economy, it's a friggin' miracle. And considering that virtually 100% of the Republican
congressional delegation has been dead set against
job creation and improving the economy for the last
four years, he has done quite well.

If these stinking, sabotaging Republicans
would just get the fu*k out of the way we
could actually get somewhere.

So the coal mines have all been boarded up in New Hope, PA? Here in Silicon Valley the average home costs $700K because jobs for the educated are plentiful and pay upwards of $100K/yr.
Of course 'educated' implies 'smart'.

They're leaving and moving to Austin, donut brain. Staying in California with taxes going up, up, up is not very smart.

States do not institute tax policy in a vacuum," said Scott Drenkard and Joseph Henchman, the study's authors. "Every change to a state's tax system makes its business tax climate more or less competitive compared to other states and makes the state more or less attractive to business."

Translation: If California remains relatively hostile to new businesses -- at least compared with friendlier states like Washington, Texas, Florida, and Nevada -- the next generation of tech companies may be located somewhere else.

There are signs it's already happening. Intel CEO Paul Otellini warned last week that California's future is bleak. "We're so close to screwing it up, it's pathetic...I worry that we have to hit the abyss before we can fix things, and I worry that the abyss will be more like Greece," Otellini said at the Intel Capital Global Summit, according to The Wall Street Journal.

You people always blame Bush and take the blame away from EL Dumbo. If the economy was bad, why didnt he make it better with the stimulas? Why is it even worse? Because he doesn't know what he's doing. He plays hit and miss, can't do that with the Presidency. By the time he's out, 3 or 4 more cities will be bankrupt.

"California Here We Come!" LMAO

The final ballots were counted Friday in a special election for a San Joaquin Valley state Senate seat, affirming Republican cherry farmer Andy Vidak's defeat of Democrat Leticia Perez in a seat long held by Democrats.

Vidak's victory in the 16th Senate district shrinks the Democrats' supermajority in the state Senate and provides a lift for California's struggling Republican Party. Democrats had hoped to retain the seat as they face a likely fight next year to maintain their supermajority status in the Senate

True. A so-so house that costs $500,000 in California
sells for a third of that amount in some low-wage, no-wage,
food-stamp Red State.

Murderers throughout history come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The result is always the same as despair for the ones affected by these butchers turns into malaise or vengeance or compliance. We are supposed to be above that. And we have not been for decades. Both parties are guilty.
