On May 20, 2011 at Adelphi University's 115th Commencement ceremony, award-winning Haitian-born novelist, Edwidge Danticat, will receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree.

I received my graduate degree from Adelphi.......nice to see that they recognize your talent and contributions to the world.
