I wonder what they'd do to me, if they saw all MY infrastructure pictures?
Telecom, Electric, Dams, Motorways, Military bases, Police buildings, Airports, Port facilities, Bridges, Tunnels, etc.

My favourite is near Tocuyito, when Chavez had his "Tank Parade" in Valencia last year! They blocked a major highway and staged the tanks in Tocuyito, a few km out of Valancia. Unbelievable chaos!

Actually, this is only partially correct. It would be better to say that the drought precipitated a crisis that has been in the making for quite some time. Hugo Chavez's government ignored for many years the warnings of the experts about the electric crisis that was brewing. His government simply did not invest in keeping up with the maintenance of existing installations and did not build new electric plants (thermoelectric or otherwise) to avoid a possible catastrophe. Meanwhile, Chavez did invest in an electric plant for Nicaragua, revived the ones in Cuba and, has given away **our** resources to other countries in a hope to expand his communist revolution... talk about a traitor to his own country.

partly, how about that is the reason why this all happened. I think they'll have measures in place for next year, the interesting thing about this drought, is that many are using it as a basis for attack against Chavez himself. It seems he's aware of the complicated situation this could have caused, and that's why you see so many of the Cubans. They're just making sure that the ship is well secured in case of another coup of sorts. This drives the opposition and others crazy. That's how the game goes...Russia, Cuba, and China are helping with intelligence and in other ways. This has turned into a global playing ground for influence.
