If they sell genuine products in a retail store which looks exactly like an Apple store, what is the problem here?
If Apple owns some kind of intellectual property rights concerning their Apple store designs, that may cause an legal issue, and maybe the use of Apple logos on staff T-shirts and stuff can raise problems if they were copies. But other than that, I don't see much of a problem.
I am wondering if Apple have the right to tell unauthorized retailers not to sell its products.

No! Just like UN have no right to tell American troops to get out of Iraq and Nato to stop bombing Libya

A valid point. According to Chinese law, as long as the vender has reseller license, he can sell Apple product regardless whether he has been authorized by Apple or not. Afterall, since there are only 4 cities in China with Apple store, merchant can buy real products there and resell them elsewhere with marked up prices. That's actually the very definition of merchant. The problem is with the use of logo and trademarks in the shop.

Apple is big enough that a few fake stores don't make any difference one way or the other.

But China needs to avoid these type of stories; so I would say overall the stores should be shut down. You don't want to encourage the opinion of "fake China." It's unfair to all the stores in China who are not fake.
