"Melamine has no nutritional value but is high in nitrogen, making products with it appear higher in protein. Suppliers trying to cut costs are believed to have added the toxic chemical to watered-down milk to cover up the resulting protein deficiency."

-That.

Maybe this will open China's eyes that the shortcuts they have been making in formula, toys- you name it, are making money but costing lives.

Well you should now. Most are supplying big greedy U.S corporates that screw every last yuan from the Chinese. Why not take it up with your own U.S Q.C since most products found as faulty were marketed under the U.S company and they therefore have the legal obligation to ensure quality.

Here's an example of the difference between our country and China... we were enraged over our pets getting sick with tainted Chinese produced food! China has children getting ill over their "tainted" products! How very, very sad!

What the H E L L is going on over there China!?!

It seems everything gets contaminated over there....from petfood to toys, and now milk?

What other crap from China, have been imported here to America, could be a cause of concern to our country?

So sad that the women have to go back to work so soon that they feel they can't brestfeed their babies. If the formula is so expensive, "$21 a can", maybe it's cheaper to stay home an nurse your kids!
Hummm. Another 'breast is best' story.
