Amnesty: More than 1,000 unaccounted for in Tibet

More than 1,000 protesters detained during anti-government riots in Tibet three months ago have not been accounted for, a human rights group said Wednesday.

You know, I want to see what their error margin is for their statistic. Cause really, for a population of 1.4 billion. If they can get it within 1000 that is pretty good. But then, if you are only limiting your self to the 4 million in tibet (2 million ethnic tibetans), losing a thousand people in the shuffle due to travel or just a hiking trip would be easy. Another question is how did they conduct the census? I mean are they rellying on government data or try to count each and every tibetans by themselves? Maybe I should read the article first.

In March and April, there were thousands of reports about how tibetans were mistreated. But after earthquake, there was no report by west media how those tibetan victims were treated by Chinese government, chinese people and PLA.

Only idiot would fail to see the ugly side of west media.

Yeah, with 30 years of lying, China's economic grew at 9.5% for 30 years.

I guess 99% of people on earth wouldnt care about "lie" with 9.5% of growth rate.

Its the work of sensational journalisim where the reporter only go after what would sale papers. Tibet incident is what they would call "old news". Also typically sympathy sales more paper than politics. Because after the violence is over, political news just become bunch of old man sitting around negotiating and no one wants to read about that.

Plus since China suffered the quake, its like you dissing someone just lost his wife about cheating on taxes if you continue to go after China. That makes the reporters the bad guy so no journalist will do that.
