As monk suicides near 100, Tibetans share fear, sorrow

In its latest move to crack down on dissent, the Chinese government treats self-immolations as a crime and charges anyone inciting the act with "intentional murder." Tibetan pilgrims prostrate themselves as they circle the Milarepa Palace, a nine-story Tibetan temple in Tsoe city, in southern Gansu province.
