Dalai Lama nephew walks 900 miles to NYC for Tibet

Apr 18, 2009 Full story: The Associated Press 27

The Dalai Lama's nephew has finished a 900-mile walk across America to protest what he calls Chinese suppression of Tibetans.

After the four-week trek from Indiana to New York, Jigme Norbu's feet were full of painful blisters and were missing nails and the feeling in one toe.

'But I feel energized, because the cause itself energizes me,' Norbu said Saturday, a day after emerging from New Jersey through the Lincoln Tunnel.

Capping his 'Walk for Tibet,' Norbu led a noon rally Saturday in front of the Chinese consulate on Manhattan's West Side.

Don't get heated up.

This old ancient dinosaur now calling himself or herself 'China out of Tibet' is the same old ancient dinosaur who used the name of 'Trevor Swistchew' and who most people avoid discussing with him/her.

No matter 'Trevor Swistchew' or 'China out of Tibet',you made exile Tibetans look bad. I can not believe that you are Tibetan! Maybe you are a CCP member and that is a new way to smear exile Tibetan's intellegence.

haven't you ever pay attention to a obviously feature:
people say"free tibet""china out of tibet" all come from overseas.
now Tibet is free to have a visit there.
why not go and ask some truly Tibetans, born there, live there, seeing place changing.

or just enjoy your CNN fake picture.
listenning soso breaking news interests you.
you just get satisfied, and truth has been shut out of your doors.

absolutely, you are devoid of some nutrition.

If you do research for the name "Trevor Swistchew" you will find that the only Trevor Swistchew who comes up in the search went to an approved school in Edinburgh (Scotland) called Wellington Farm where, according to Trevor Swistchew, they allegedly abused them in some fashion. So hardly a grammar school education. But at least he learned to write bad poetry, be unemployed and live off the tax payer. And for those who are not aware - approved schools are where they put children who break the law and are out of control so have to be kept away from society. So, if this is the same Trevor Swistchew (and there is a remote chance that it may not be), he is almost certainly not Tibetan but Scottish and with that name he is probably of East European origin with an estimated age in his 60's. However, Trevor Swistchew use to show up on Topix with an Edinburgh IP address rather than UK.... coincidence???

Arn't search engines wonderful?

Hey, I just do the research. If this is not our Swistchew then you can understand why our Swistchew would feel the need to change his name. Conversly, let it stand as a lesson to mask one's identity on the internet.

But "niubi"...? I think I will take that as a compliment. LOL

I know what it means to me but that can be any number of things and not all of them are complimentary. Sadly there is no literal translation for it and different people have different ideas as to what it means for them.

It is perhaps similar to the English word "crazy". Origionally it was used to describe the mentally ill. So to call a Chinese person "crazy" would cause offence. However, the younger English generation use it to describe someone who is interesting, fun to be with and slightly unpredictable. Sadly most Chinese people do not understand it is a compliment rather than an insult now.

Yes,something like that. For many words, you can't find its counterpart in another language, but literal translation always exist.Uh,hard to say,it is 'cattle pu**y'.While the paraphrase is 'f**king awesome' or 'damn brilliant'.Add swear words 'bi' to form the ultimate, super, superlative form on the adj 'niu',and 'niu' do not have any bad meaning.:)

It is meaningless to reason with idiots. It is time to show them some human skins made by Dalai group before. Wait. Maybe these skins will not work because them love that. Free Tibet? You want to decorticate Tibetan again?

Why the hell Western Nazi always interested in Tibet of China? Himmler even sent several expenditions to Xizang. Western Nazi, please apart from Xizang of China.
