China should emulate America and make one language the official language.

The official language of China is Chinese not Tibetan. The official language of Japan is Japanese, Korea, Korean et al. America has one officail language, American or modified English.

I think Singapore and Canada are doing quite well with having more than one official language. No need to be a racist pig about it. But it's so enlightening to see so many Chinese being forced to learn English.

Well there you go! China's only copying Cracka's methods. If you disapprove, take it up with Cracka. It's their system.

They do, Mandarin Chinese. Hence why all the Xizang people are whining about having to use the national standard language in schools. None of the other regions whose primary language is not Mandarin seem to be complaining about it too much. Imagine a place, such as USA mentioned, if every minority group were allowed to have schools in their own language. Just how long would said country be united when a portion of the populace couldn't communicate with the rest?

They should let them have their own language. Then when they can't get a job they can blame it on the "raciest" Chinese! How come they didn't complain when their "culture" was watered down when slavery ended?

'TIL 1923 SCHOOL CLASSES IN THE UNITED STATES WERE USUALLY CONDUCTED IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY.

BECAUSE OF WW1, AND THE LARGE GERMAN SPEAKING POPULATION SUPPORTING GERMANY IN WW1 THE RULERS OF THE UNITED STATES GOT UPSET AND PASSED A LAW IN 1923 TO USE ENGLISH ONLY IN THE SCHOOLS. THIS WAS OVERTURNED BY SOME COURT, BUT THE NATIONAL SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS GOT AROUND IT AND THE DEFACTO LANGUAGE BECOME ENGLISH PUSHING OUT THE IMMIGRANT LANGUAGES.

IN THE MINORITY AREAS OF CHINA THE CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED IN CHINESE, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE NATIVE TONGUE IS ALSO STUDIED, UNLIKE IN THE U.S.A. IN 1923, THE NATIVE TONGUES IN THE MINORITY AREAS OF CHINA ARE NOT IGNORED, BUT STUDIED.

IN THESE MINORITY AREAS OF CHINA AND ELSEWHERE IN CHINA, ENGLISH IS A MANDATORY LANGUAGE IN THE CLASSROOM CURRICULUM, AS WELL AS CHINESE AND THE NATIVE MINORITY TONGUES TOO, FOR A TOTAL OF 3 LANGUAGES STUDIED IN THE PRIMARY, THE JUNIOR AND THE SENIOR LEVELS OF THE SCHOOLS, FOR A TOTAL OF 3 LANGUAGES THAT MUST BE MASTERED. NOW GO TO COLLEGE IN THESE MINORITY AREAS AND IT'S THE SAME 3 LANGUAGES THAT ARE STUDIED.

Chinese puppet in a singlet.

Amazing the Chinese line of "we ended child slavery in Tibet", Yet at the same time millions of Chinese children themselves were in slavery, and the Government didn't seem to care too much about that.

In your photo, I don't see any strings attached to your body, so I can only assume your Chinese puppeteer has his hand right up your crusty old ass.

Wrong answer. North Korea doesn't have multiple official languages. Your ridiculous comparison is something like why Ireland isn't united since they speak the same language, or US and Canada for that matter.
