China is due for a popular revolution. There is only so much bullshit you can force feed a billion people...even if they are backward and amoral.

"popular revolution"

IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN HERE 'CAUSE WE UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE THINK; WE DON'T NEED THE "PATRIOT-ACT" HERE TO GOVERN.

Brainwash eventually will fail, agreed. But what makes you think Chinese people are "backwards and amoral"? IF really so, why are so many Americans afraid of China's rise?

No, I am not an American!

Morally - NO!

Culturally - NEVER!

Economically - Temporarily

Militarily - Currently

Spending more than you earn on your military is contributing to the downfall of your economy. That in turn will lead to the implosion of your military – witness Russia. America doesn't have as rich or as deep a culture as China. If America is personified by good morals then it’s time to rewrite the dictionary!

America are suffering from the effect of clear air turbulence. They would be paranoid about anybody who is heading in the opposite direction after telling everybody how clever they are.

Who was that Greek(?) who flew too close to the sun and had the heat melt the wax holding the feathers in place... Icarus(?)

And a better analogy - a drowning man will grasp at anything and typically try and drown his rescuer.

And yet another analogy – a cart horse wears blinkers because anything overtaking them scares the 5hit out of them.

Icarus or Ikaros, he didn't listen to advice.

If the Americans knew the Chinese culture, there'd be no paranoia because the Chinese culture is not a leader's culture, I think. A typical saying is "chu tou de chuan zi xian lan", isn' it?

I am amazed of the achievement in the last 50 years. I believe the positive reports about modern Tibet are true because my good friends who visited Lhasa in recent years shared with me what they saw. I am also very interested in Tibet.

I think Tibetans need a modern religion to replace the backward Tibetan Lamaism.

Christianity can contribute a lot to the process of modernizing Tibet and the people.
