Not even 1 % OC, out of 650 MP's I think only 4 were charged and 2 convicted and locked up, that is like 0.4% or something.....didn't China at one time execute corrupt officials ? should introduce it in Britain I'm sure we can generate extra revenue to pay the Tax payer back if we charge spectator fees for these executions as I am sure lots of people would pay to see a MP executed...LOL

Yes China have executed a few corrupt officials but I think it's currently out of fashion. I'm sure that makes a nonsense of the CCP being corrupt when they do that. But I do like your progressive thinking for the UK and if Cameron wasn't himself an MP and hoping for rich rewards after his term in office then we could expect to whittle down the number of MPs to about 50 or even less (what is the minimum number of people it takes to follow the Party line and say yeah or nay - two?) depending on what the corruption take up is after one gets elected.
But excellent thinking and worthy of mention to Jeremy Clakson as not only could it raise revenue by having a Saturday night execution feature on ITV complete with audience participation (for a fee) but it would also reduce salaries and not forgetting the savings in the larger budget for expenses. Perhaps they'd consider DVDs for expats as an incentive to come home?
