Finally, It took long enough to slow that train. Maybe they will slow their demand for oil which in turn will place price pressures on OPEC. The Chinese also might want to revisit their currency policies and consider valuing the yuan correctly.

Yep, it's all part of the plan, following our Taoist orientation towards the natural. Birth, life, death, decay, in endless cycles. Old, now inefficient factories close, get torn down, new, more efficient ones get built, producing higher value products. We don't fight change, we flow with it. The rigid absolutism of the west is why your breaking up, trying to resist nature

Us breaking up? Heck, you're already cracked.

Birth, life, death, decay, in endless cycles? China has cut out most birth with government ordered abortion, talk to those poor girls dying inside of Chinese orphanages and the ones who get run over and left for dead in the roadways about Life. Since the CCP views Life as being dirt cheap in a country with 1.4 billion people, Death sure as Hell is part of the Maoist philosophy of cycles - how many millions of deaths was he responsible for? 20 Million? 30 Million? Decay, under these conditions, is inevitable.

The rise and fall of stupidity is an ancient traditional cycle, alright. But I wouldn't go around flaunting it, brother:)

I'm not from the west. As a matter of fact, I was born and lived for a while in a former communist country. I know little bit about communists.

I feel like a fortunate fellow, who made the right decisions years ago, when I could see the S about to hit the fan, there in my once great land. I chose not to be a victim of mass suicide by socialism.

Of course the looming shit storm will be a challenge to all. The proximate cause, the summation of policies/philosophies, is debt/leverage. You have an unsustainable amount. We have none, and our coffers are overflowing. If for no other reason, tho in fact there are many, Greater China is best positioned for an optimal outcome

Rats always jump ship when they suspect they are in jeopardy. But, like I said earlier, you may have left one poop deck for another.

Rats are comfortable with minimal accommodations.

If it makes you feel better to call me a rat deserting a sinking ship for a sound one, I'll not object, as from your point of view it is accurate. You may also call me a traitor, as many do, tho I have never acted against America, and will never do so. I can't save the world, mainly as such salvation would be refused, as minds are stuck, frozen. Sorry about that

Yeah...you can soften your image with terms like "free spirit" or "interloper" or ex-pat, etc. and that's OK.

But you still are what you are and have to live with it.

Your terms, not mine, nor would I use them. I do my best to be a good citizen of my adopted country, and give a good impression of Americans. After all, America is a land of immigrants, who came to make a better land
