China is to be blamed, for China is ignoring the cries of Tibetans for independence. Self immolations is just one way to have China attend to the injustices committed by the Hans.

Give autonomy and independence to Tibetans to find their own destiny in their part of the world.

Why don't you work on achieving independence for Basque, Catalon, Scotland, Wales, and Corsica in EU first, and re-unification of Northern Ireland, before you come see us about Asia.

This is just another example of fanaticism that is nurtured by leaders of a cause. The common motivating force is religion in response to a perceived or manufactured threat to that religion from outsiders. The real threat is not to the religion but to those who control the followers of that religion and believe they are or will loose their grip on power.

In the Muslim world they are called terrorists because it is a convenient term to demonise those who fight and give their lives for their cause. The foot soldiers who give their lives for the cause rarely understand the true objectives of the cause or the nature of those who will benefit should their sacrifices produce the desired result.

The word terrorist applies to the Tibetan sacrifices as well because they also use acts of violence to achieve political change. Perhaps they would produce a more desirable response if they were to lobby the Tibetan leaders in government rather than to engage in acts of violence and blackmail that will simply alienate them.

Why should China blame itself when clearly the separatists are propped up by your southern neighbor.

Self-immolations are well-done!! I'm serious.
Ordered to sacrifice themselves by Dalai, those Tibetan separatists will be less and less, unless Dalai is able to transform all the tibetans to his supporters, but it can by no means.
So let dalai send his supporters to kill themselves. Peace will come to Tibet.

Frying and crying are not going to bring back slavery, serfdom, feudalism, and Theocracy of Old Tibet.

Let those westerners go to ask tibetans in Tibet, How is their lives, better or worse? Nobody in tibetans will support Dalai to recover the serfdom of Tibet, Dalai is a cruel exploiter and he vain hoped to rebuild his private kingdom in Tibet, which is a autocratic feudal state.
Don't those westerners publicizing democracy wanna support such a feudalist?

The Dollar Lama used to own 6,000 slaves in Old Tibet, yet Obama met the Lama at the White House. Dollar was shown the back door, stepping on garbage on the way out.

I know there are some Chinese organizations abroad, and they often help Chinese government deal with some matters Chinese govt cannot do, for example, they help assassinate those absconding corrupt officials or those traitors leaked national secrets.

I think they can help kill Dalai lama.

Why bother. Dollar is just minor nuisance, a mosquito or a small fly.

I'm waiting for Dollar to die and the Karmapa Lama to take his followers to surrender to the Chinese government and return to Tibet to live in peace.

Anyhow Dalai is a old dying traitor, even if China doesn't sent a killer to snuff him, he will die sooner or later.
Don't you remember what dalai did in 2008? He ordered his followers to make a riot in Lhasa, which caused deaths of many innocent people's, is he supposed to need treating well?
And what the hell is related with freeing tibet?
