Cameroon government stops opposition meeting
The Cameroonian government has again clamped down on an event organised by a new opposition political party created by a former ally of long-serving leader Paul Biya.

Gossips and rumours spoil a country. It now gives the impression the dissolution of the opposition meeting was geared towards repression the opposition. Very far from that. This opposition party notified the local authorities before the meeting held but they did not respect their words. They went against their own words and were doing something else and had to be stopped.

After writing a letter to the local authorities informing them about their meeting, which was approved, the opposition party whose meeting was stopped did not respect their words on the reasons of their meeting and instead went astray and thus the meeting had to be stopped.
