Well I guess you had to be there in the times when society was more God fearing.<quoted text>
Strange that I don't get any of those things for free, nor do any of the people I know. Yet still, I don't gleefully want borderless corporations running our country like you. Remember when those "Liberals" made children pray to their god in public schools for decades? Remember how those "Liberals" threw science out the window and taught children the earth was made by a sky ghost in 6 days? Yah, neither do I. Now about those "freedoms" the religious right are so inclusive about...Ha ha ha.
You see, nobody forced kids to do anything. Society in itself was very religious. In fact, many cities didn't even allow the sale of alcohol on the Lords Day. When a witness testified in court, he or she put their hand on the Holy Bible and swore to God they were telling the truth. God is on our currency. Prayer is still what starts sessions of Congress.
Nobody was forced into religion. Society itself chose to be religious. Not such a bad thing really. Back then, many people slept with their front doors wide open. We didn't need metal detectors in our schools. A high school girl getting pregnant was a shameful thing. Today, they throw baby showers in the high school itself. Two parent families were the norm and not the exception.
Yeah, liberals came along and took God out of school, and replaced it with teaching children how to put condoms on bananas. We sure are heading in the right direction thanks to liberalism though.
