Despite the fact that Diebold was directly involved in rigging the voting machines for Bush, and although they contribute heavily to the GOP, they fled Canton during Bush. How much was gas around here when Bush was President? It was $4 a gallon. How long has it been since gas was at $4 a gallon around here? Hmmmm never since. You live in a fantasy world of emailed newsletter propaganda. I have had a front row seat to the nightmare you guys inflicted on this country with GW. You are all still in denial of voting for him twice and now conveniently call yourselves independents or Libertarians. You are not fooling anyone and the only reason you guys try to put down the current president is because you guys wish the people who voted for him were viewed as stupid as those that screwed the middleclass when they voted in the "Mission Accomplished" goon squad. Things like Dumbama or Tyrant, Socialist...all sound stupid coming from you idiots who jumped ship on your own party and your own country for that matter. We won't forget who gleefully sent our soldiers off to die so Cheney's Halliburton could rake in billions. It was "independents" like you and yours.
WOW!! Are you serious?? Just asking 'who was president'...when such & such happened means squat. Your baseless diatribe means less than hearsay. It's like asking,"Who lived at 1001 Elm Street when the Oak tree came down, Bush?"
Did the Bushes cut the tree down? Did a tornado or storm take it down? Did soil contamination kill it? Did an insect infestation make it rot? Just because the Bush's lived there means next to nothing. Just like saying other posters voted twice for Bush to imply that that had everything to do with his winning, that means nothing, no proof in any way that Deibold rigged machines, just the whining of sour grapes of the then name calling losers, you have nothing, including no lucid thoughts.
Cheney did NOT own Halliburton or even Halliburton stock while Cheney was VP & as you have been told by XXX I believe, that Halliburton changed names & is still doing international business including contracting for the U.S. because they are OFTEN the ONLY company that can supply the contracted requests which was also on the internet news.

That's funny how you call the FACT that the Hoover Company fled North Canton, Danner Press shut down, Deilbold was stripped to a skeleton crew and gas was $4 a gallon, all when Bush was President as "baseless claims"? You need put in a home old fool. Your denial for what you voted in on this nation has left you just an abstract propaganda fed delusion in the face of historically documented facts. But what would one expect from someone who can't even admit to being a Republican. Wonder what your voting record has to say about it.

Funny how companies that make billions off of us being chained to oil and the middle east, putting AK47s in the hands of every urban 16 year old and a cigarette in every kid's mouth are all owned by rightwing Christian Conservative companies. Just like with "Mission Accomplished" GW, who claimed "God" told him to invade Iraq, you are all walking in the footsteps of Jesus. Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha!

That whole Halliburton getting no bid contracts on a war based on lies about WMDs was all just a coincidence, see? Yah...that's how it went, see? You got nothing on us, see? GW Bush wasn't even elected those two terms. Your party raped the American voters and made billions off of needlessly sending our troops off to die. The whole time you waved your flag and waited for Fox News to tell you what to fear next. You made bloated propaganda mouthpieces like Rush Limbaugh very rich by supporting a billionaire's agenda and being dumb enough to think that includes you. Energy industry paid idiots like Palin or Bachhman toss out some Christian agenda dribble and you guys jump though hoops like trained poodles. The The oil billionaire Koch brothers who directly pay every politician you support...Romney, Gingrich...hell they even bought two supreme court justices, spent millions to form your beliefs on climate change and you to this day still blurt out what you have been told like a mindless oil lobby puppet. Unless of course, seeing that you are going against the majority of climate experts, you believe that you guys came up with your radical views about global weather patterns on your own. Wonder why the first time I ever heard someone say they didn't believe in global warming was a decade before Gore mentioned it and it was all from people who went to church?

"We don't need to protect the environment, the second coming is at hand." James Watt, outspoken rightwing Christian, oil man and anti environmentalist-in charge of our Nation's environment as Sec of Interior under Ronald Reagan.

Seems your boys have been playing this game for a while, eh?

There are a couple of things you should know about Haliburton:

Haliburton was the company that constructed Iraq's oil structure when Saddam ran things. Who better to call than the original developers for reconstruction?

Haliburton is the only company large enough to handle a project that size. The next company that even comes close is half owned by Haliburton.

The US has used Haliburton in every foreign construction project since Vietnam. And yes, even some domestic construction as well.

Dick Cheney sold all Haliburton interests to run for VP. He didn't make a dime.

It's better to have one company manage construction and reconstruction of a country than it is to have the US government taking hundreds of "bid" contracts and trying to manage those dozens or hundreds of companies to do the same job. We do the same thing on a smaller scale when we want to buy a new home. We don't hand pick the plumbers, the electricians, the landscapers, the carpenters, the bricklayers. We hire a contractor and he or she takes care of all that. In the end, it's cheaper that way and much more organized.

And all Bush's fault, eh?

Well if Bush was responsible for all that, how is it DumBama is not responsible for anything he does? Over four years now and it's still Bush or the Republicans fault.

When companies leave a state, it's not the Presidents doing, it's the state leadership that needs to be questioned. Blame 8 billion in the hole Strickland or RINO Taft if you want to blame anybody for jobs lost in Ohio.

I'll be more than happy to return to $4.00 per gallon gasoline. After all, that's less than 50 cents more than we are paying today. But I would also like to return to cheaper groceries, lower fuel bills, lower cell phone bills, no fees for ATM or credit cards. I would love to return back to the Bush days. It was cheaper in the long run.

Yes, just like Hurricane Katrina that he ordered to the US.

If we are to blame the President and the President only, let's make a list of what we can blame DumBama for. Can we not blame the Boston bombing on DumBama? After all, the FBI knew these guys were shady. We can also blame DumBama for Ft. Hood. And what about that car bomber at Times Square that was nabbed not because of DumBama's good work, but because of an aware citizen?

Then of course we can talk about Benghazi. You know, that savage murder that took place when DumBama's minions lied about what it was? Of course DumBama was deeply concerned. He was an hour late getting to Vegas the next day to campaign. Oh, and let's not forget the helicopter attack that killed many men from Seal Team 6. This after DumBama couldn't help but brag how he got Bin Laden and who he used.

Naaah. All Bush's fault. LOL!

Its kinda like saying bush started iraq ( democraps voted for it ) and that the civil war brewing over there is obamas fault ( we have a republican majority congress now). When will the public blame both parties?

Thanks for some actual info. I didn't really doubt it (maybe I subconciously remembered) so I didn't argue Cantons statement but he says so very much that without a link, QUOTE, sources or other info which is what XXX, myself & others were trying to point out to the ding-a-ling.

I looked around and cannot find any video of Bush saying these things. I even went to Factcheck and found nothing. Perhaps you have a video.
