It's a tossup. Strickland is a mildly conservative democrap and Kasich is a progressive republican which puts them both near the same overall political position on the left/right scale and making it tough to choose the lesser of the two evils....like being given a choice of death by hanging or by firing squad.

Throw a tea party and vote the bums out.

Anyone who thinks ANY Ohio politician has done a good job is deluded. This state is one of the most depressed in the nation. There are no leaders here to be proud of.

UR absolutely rite Casual observer, but it's pretty asinine for bad complexion pittsburgh johnney to go aroud saying he's going to save humanity, he could not beat himself outta' a wet paper bag, let alone create 50,000 great jobs here or anywhere on earth.
I bet his wife would like that mudpath to his huge whitehouse in westerville paved. Why don't the media cover his director status with worthington steel (NYSE WOR) any?

Neither one of these guys are a good choice to run Ohio. For things to actually turn around in this state we need to take the politics out of everyday life. Vote in people that actually care about the working person and not about themselves. We need someone who will bring jobs to Ohio. Not send them overseas. I personally will be voting for them by flipping a coin.

Our dollars are weaker every day, pumping-up the markets and good for our exports.
Problem is...We don't manufacture anything here anymore for export..
Surpassing the entire pop of oh is the 15M americhans drawing long term unemployment checks and thats not even the start of the hole we are in and will never dig ourselves out of.

And amature politians like John Monaca Kasich are the reason why.

Kasich would like to get rid of the Ohio Dept. of Education and cut funding for Education. He thinks the communities should cover the cost of the schools, not the state. Imagine how high our taxes will go up then.

A former President, Clinton, who while in office committed felonies in an attempt to fix a court case in which an American citizen was the plaintiff and he himself was the defendant campaigned for Strickland.
The current President, who is obviously a marxist socialist who is deliberately attempting to destroy the private sector economy also campaigned for Strickland.
Kasich was the author of the balance budget amendment in the 90's. Kasich was one of the leading members of the Republican controlled Congress that created the projected budget surplus of the 90's.

Right. The Democrats have done so much for us. This is the closest we've been to Communism/ Socialism in the history of our country.

Democrats are for poor people, Republicans are for the wealthy. The Democrats want more and more people to remain poor so they can "help" them to STAY poor. The Republicans want to get the government out of the way so more and more people can become and remain wealthy.

"I'm poor I don't need the republican's help" That makes me sick! You leave in America! Do you needs someone's help?
