Watch out folks, here comes the global warming expert truck driver:
World's top climate scientists confess: Global warming is just QUARTER what we thought - and computers got the effects of greenhouse gases wrong
Leaked report reveals the world has warmed at quarter the rate claimed by IPCC in 2007
Scientists accept their computers may have exaggerated
A leaked copy of the world’s most authoritative climate study reveals scientific forecasts of imminent doom were drastically wrong.
The Mail on Sunday has obtained the final draft of a report to be published later this month by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the ultimate watchdog whose massive, six-yearly ‘assessments’ are accepted by environmentalists, politicians and experts as the gospel of climate science.
They are cited worldwide to justify swingeing fossil fuel taxes and subsidies for ‘renewable’ energy.
Yet the leaked report makes the extraordinary concession that over the past 15 years, recorded world temperatures have increased at only a quarter of the rate of IPCC claimed when it published its last assessment in 2007.
Back then, it said observed warming over the 15 years from 1990-2005 had taken place at a rate of 0.2C per decade, and it predicted this would continue for the following 20 years, on the basis of forecasts made by computer climate models.

WOW! What about NASA?
Report: 95 percent of global warming models are wrong
3:30 PM 02/11/2014
Environmentalists and Democrats often cite a “97 percent” consensus among climate scientists about global warming. But they never cite estimates that 95 percent of climate models predicting global temperature rises have been wrong.
Former NASA scientist Dr. Roy Spencer says that climate models used by government agencies to create policies “have failed miserably.” Spencer analyzed 90 climate models against surface temperature and satellite temperature data, and found that more than 95 percent of the models “have over-forecast the warming trend since 1979, whether we use their own surface temperature dataset (HadCRUT4), or our satellite dataset of lower tropospheric temperatures (UAH).”
“I am growing weary of the variety of emotional, misleading, and policy-useless statements like ‘most warming since the 1950s is human caused’ or ‘97% of climate scientists agree humans are contributing to warming’, neither of which leads to the conclusion we need to substantially increase energy prices and freeze and starve more poor people to death for the greater good. Yet, that is the direction we are heading,”

the responsibility of driving that truck is what you receive pay for.
I have driven the boat in the snow and did not like it a bit. My hands hurt for a week from the white knuckles. I only had to pull it about 20 miles, and that was 20 to many.
50% of drivers forget they can kill instantly for being stupid.
I drive lots for someone not paid for doing so. I am a traffic hazard with cruise set at 75 on I71.
last week on way home from cincinnati I was in right lane 75 on cruise control, and constantly being trapped by people I passed 3 times already. When I had enough of it I showed the idiots real immediate speed.
I pulled directly in front of a chick who could not hold constant speed, and showed her E85 tune with fire coming out the exhaust. Car goes from 75 to 150 in about 500 yards. I went by a state patrolman who must have seen the occurrence, and he pulled her over. Maybe he took easy pickings.
Car has onboard computer that keeps average speed. it resets with each start. I figured I was toast and was going to playback my speed for past 2 hours. It would have done nothing I am sure, but the state cars have zero chance of catching car by themselves. my pulling over I hoped would achive brownie points.
I won't be doing that again on 71. That car I drive is absolutely amazing the power it produces with a tiny engine. You and I could lift it without a hoist no problem. After i voided the warranty in the 1st week with aftermarket parts and pro tune...dyno 452 HP to the ground with all wheel drive. Alcohol tune makes this pup a nasty beast, and so far no corvette or BMW is even a challenge.
in the twisties nothing can touch it....nothing.
2014 Mitsubishi Evolution MR Touring, and Slow Motion Motorsports hop up and tune. look on youtube where evo races world class skiers down the slope. that video made me buy the car.
1/4 mile in 10.94.

These stories just keep getting and better, for both of you, xxx.

Really? You either couldn't have gotten or wouldn't have been able to afford to have got insurance before. It's the law now. Even for people like you.

I have an employee who has a daughter that had open heart surgery in 1st week of life.
That is called a pre-existing condition.
For 10 years I have paid the health insurance in entirety for the family.
If you have pre-existing conditions your premium is higher.....imagine that.
if you have a DUI your insurance is higher......is this science for you?
why is it you will pay for DUI insurance with no complaint, but health care.....it is not fair.
you get a loan to fix your car, but not your body.
not to smucking fart.

keep that in mind sheep....I will still be laughing.

I was parroting Mutt's use of the 'rocket scientist' comment. I have towed a boat to Laurel Lake a number of times & Dale Hollow too. I can attest to all of your points.
I have driven trucks with 28' boxes. And towed many a trailer.
I have never driven a big rig but I know that I don't want to.
XXX has been a little inconsistent & may deserve some of the shots at him. I just don't see the validity or intelligence to denigrate ALL truck drivers like Mutt has been doing. Make the insults specific to the 'target' NOT any entire field & then also in a very exaggerated degree & ridiculous way.
I'm not defending XXX specifically but ALL truckers in general. It takes a certain skill & demeanor to do that job. Like you said,(paraphrasing) it isn't for everyone.
#27474 Apr 2, 2014
I don't know what you mean by "inconsistent" and "deserving of shots" but I do appreciate your support for all of us truck drivers. Especially with those who claim how easy it all is when they've probably never set foot in a truck yet alone drove one. I would even bet that some here don't even have a drivers license. LOL!

Don't give DumBama any more ideas. I've already lost my health insurance. I don't need to be losing my auto or house insurance next.
Liberals are "me, me, me" people. All they look at is what the government is going to give us next, but never ask who is going to pay for it. To a liberal, everything is just magic.
Get unemployment for a year, magic, nobody really has to pay for it. Make the air or water cleaner, magic, nobody really has to pay for it. Make minimum wage $15.00 per hour, magic, nobody really has to pay for it. Give everybody and anybody healthcare insurance, magic, nobody really has to pay for it. Government giving out free cell phones, magic, nobody really has to pay for it.
I wonder if all liberals think like the Obama Money lady. Liberals can't come to terms with the fact government doesn't have anything. They don't produce anything, they don't create profit on anything. So if government gives me a loaf of bread, they must first take that loaf of bread from the table of another, or borrow the money to provide me that loaf of bread that some people not even born yet will have to pay for.

Like most insured people in this country, I got my insurance through my employer. But ever since Commie Care was passed, the premiums kept getting more and more expensive. The last two years being the worst.
So now we have this system where everybody is going to be insured. Of course it's a giant joke, but it's what you liberals think. How is this done? Through subsidies. What is a subsidy? It's taking money from one person and giving it to another.
It reminds me of an article Walter E Williams wrote several years ago. He asked if it would be a crime if he went into your house, took money from your purse or wallet, and gave it to a lady down the street for medical care? Of course it would be a crime. You would call the police, have him arrested, and he would likely go to jail. It matters not what he did with your money.
So it it's a crime when we take actions like that individually, why is it not a crime when government does it? Not only is it not a crime, but they are praised for it besides.
#27477 Apr 2, 2014
The real charts that show the rising costs don't show that. Your next lying point?
#27478 Apr 2, 2014
We get those people all the time all day long. These drivers don't have the intelligence to learn how to use cruise control and don't have the ability to monitor their speedometer.
The worst ones are the clowns that speed up to the truck, and then drive right next to us. If you speed up, they speed up with you. If you slow down, they slow down with you. Those idiots are the ones I hate the most.
A few years back I had one of those clowns next to me in the left lane. We were coming to a sharp curve in the highway, and I noticed that somebody must have dropped an empty pallet in the left lane of the road. The guy in the left lane just ahead of me seen the pallet and I backed off to let him in. He was in a SUV and the joker that was driving next to me had no idea that pallet was there. I laughed as I watched him smash into that pallet and then drove into the wall in my mirror. LOL! I thought to myself "that's why you don't drive next to a truck you idiot."
What people don't realize is that our truck tires have large groves in them unlike a car. It's very common we do pickups and deliveries at places too cheap to lay down asphalt. So their lot is all gravel. Those rocks get embedded in the groves of our tires, and they dislodge at will. Those rocks shoot right through a radiator or condenser, and then you're stuck getting your vehicle repaired for leaks or getting replacement parts. Very expensive.

...'may be deserving of shots' is quite subjective...no judgement there from me. But at sometime, each of us rubs someone the wrong way.
Some more than others & I don't consider that one subjective. lol
#27480 Apr 2, 2014
Did you lie about having zero income and not paying taxes, Walter? Is that why you get so testy any time I bring it up?
#27482 Apr 2, 2014
Grow up. You do that to people everyday, complaining about any and every person who benefits from any social program. You like to criticize nameless, faceless people who are no more responsible for their situation in life than you are for yours. You are a big tough guy when criticizing them and big baby when it comes to taking responsibility for your own situation. Now go smoke a couple dozen cigarettes and drink a twelve pack of Pepsi.

Nothing like a pompous ass like you to dig your own cesspool. Wallow well, pig, it's you last meal. HPV got you by the twat, that;s why you soo angry. The gods haz spoken, and you are not among the chosen ones. we'll be watching your demise, popcorn in hand, clapping at every flailing throe you fail. Occupy your own mind before you try to occupy my liberties, you worthless lout. Sinking ship with tattered sails, heading for the bottom. Have a nice fall.
.Mebbe obamacare cover your mental ward stay. be cool there until da haldol kick in, gf., or you get no cookies and tea

You are getting very close to "menacing", and there are laws against that. Just like the thug that says "it's a nice shop you have here --- it would be a shame if it burned down" you don't say directly that YOU would burn it down, and so you think you get a pass. But, if that poster's house burned down tomorrow, Topix would give you up in a second.
OK, I went back and reviewed the messages. The poster said that you are fat and a smoker. You know if that is true or not. He's attributing those bad habits to your difficulties with getting a medical certification. If I understand you, he crosses the line when he mentions diabetes, because that can be a genetic condition that is beyond your control.
And that is sometimes true. But diabetes can also be a disease we "choose" by our bad lifestyle choices. So it's hard to know if that's your situation or not.
But let's assume your diabetes is not due to some bad choices, but was just something you were born with. In that case, I agree with you. It's wrong to criticize someone because of the way they were born --- things that they cannot control.
So, by your own logic, when you disparage Obama because of his "big ears" or because he's a "half-breed", YOU are crossing that same line. You are mocking him for things that he cannot control.

You have an employee that you pay coverage for? Only in your dreams.
#27487 Apr 3, 2014
unlike your useless self, I have multiple income streams.
I am so pleased you are envious.
If you applied yourself and actually worked, you also could afford stuff.
I had to mail my taxes in yesterday because I will be in Asia for 17 days. The checks I had to send in above the quarterly payments exceeds your annual income.
when are you going to pay your fair share?
since you don't , then your services need cut to actually what you pay for.
If you don't like it.....awwwwwww.....that is to bad.
no go make love to your Mickey Mouse Doll.
#27488 Apr 3, 2014
in my dreams trash like you is deposited in a dump.
wait...that is no dream.......you are deposited in a dump.
your envy is a great gift to me...thanks.
