Rev. Jackson, it is not a race issue. why do you always have to make everything about race? Gilbert and the organization and the people of cleveland are not happy with Lebrons decision to leave.

So nowadays you're not allowed anymore to say how so many people felt? Wow, where is the freedom of speech now. Guess it's out the door just like Lebron James and his respect for Cleveland.

So, the punk-azz can go on national tv and comdemn his fans, who, BYW PAID his salary for the past 7 years, but Mt. Gilbert, whom I now have the utmost respect for, gets penalized for being HONEST? Bull! I thought we had the freedom of speech in this contry, or is that just meant for "certain" people?

I say we drop out of the NBA. Stern saw this as an easy opportunity to make some cash for the commission. I hate "pro" sports anymore...

I think it is a sad day when someone is fined for letting off a little steam while emotions were riding high. Maybe LaBron should be fined for his "ill advised and imprudent" conduct as an NBA player. Really Commissioner, what message are you sending? Obviously you were ill advised on your decision as well.

Interesting events between all parties in the NBA in the last months. Maybe we should all shy away from pro sports, as decisions by the league, teams, and players only hurt the fans supporting it.

now I've heard everything. I guess you have to be a low life like Lebron to get respect and not a good guy like Dan and tell the truth.

Is stern going to announce he's the 4th to join the Heat?

He probably did this because of Jesse and his big mouth.

We all I have to say Is Go Cavs!!!! Go Dan!!!

I totally support what you said.......

NBA Commissioner David Stern needs to focus his energy elsewhere. Instead of slapping a fine on Dan Gilbert for speaking what everyone in NE Ohio feels about LeBron, David Stern should put his attention on the conspiracy that LeBron, his thugs, and the two other players had in plan to be on the same team. I can see who David Stern favors. The NBA needs to be reconstructed, and get rid of David Stern.
